I could medal in Olympic ski jumping by just going 'full send' once

I'm going to go with ski jumping. I'll just bomb it once and just go full send... and just land and crash and I'll have the longest one. ... I can stand perfectly still for about 10 seconds while I'm going downhill... and then you just do like one of those little springs at the last second.

Ski jumping involves strict style points for the landing (Telemark) and judges' evaluation. A 'crash' would result in a score too low to medal, regardless of distance.

The IOC and NBC are idiots for not letting people share Olympic clips online

The IOC in their infinite wisdom... doesn't want anyone sharing any Olympic clips, pictures, anything, because God forbid anyone talks about the Olympics and these random sports that you stumble upon... I can't understand... why tweeting a 20-second clip of a random sport like handball... is something they want to stop.

This is a subjective opinion on media policy, though the policy itself is a verified fact.

The Wisconsin Badgers could win the Olympic gold medal in basketball

I really do think that the Wisconsin Badgers could win the gold medal because it does feel like that's the style of basketball [in the Olympics]. I was actually thinking that probably the worst NBA team would have a better chance at winning the title than this group right now.

The 2021 Wisconsin Badgers would almost certainly not win Olympic gold against international professionals, though Team USA did eventually win gold regardless.

Olympic fencing should use sharper swords to make it more dangerous

I think they should have sharper swords and fencing. Like give me an element of danger. It should be death, death, death, but like maiming.

Fencing safety standards remain extremely high; sharp swords were not introduced.

If Messi wins the 2026 World Cup, he is the GOAT of all sports GOATs

So if he wins the World Cup again, I'm prepared to say he might be the GOAT GOAT. Like the GOAT of GOATs. Right now I think Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali are both tied for the GOAT GOAT... But Messi could get on the Mount Rushmore of GOAT GOATs.

Messi has reached the 2026 final in this transcript. A win would make him a back-to-back champion, making the GOAT claim very strong.

France will beat England in the World Cup third-place game, giving England the all-time record for third-place game losses.

England has, they've got the possibility to set the all time record for most third place game losses. Right now they're tied with Brazil with two. If they lose another one, then that would mean that they have that record on their own. And if you look back through history or at least recent history, three of the last five champions of the World Cup go on to win the third place game the next year. So that would mean that France would win this third place game and England would etch their names into history.

Warde Manuel is about to be fired as the Michigan Athletic Director

I think Warde Manuel's about to get fired... They've leaked a few things to the media regarding the investigation and in the things that they've leaked, they've squarely pointed their finger at Warde Manuel and been like Warde knew the entire time.

The outcome of Manuel's tenure and the NCAA investigation at Michigan remains to be seen.
