Jerry Jones is powerful enough to unilaterally increase the NFL salary cap to sign his players

I think Jerry Jones has enough power that he can actually just make the cap go up like he could go to the owners meeting and be like, 'hey guys, caps going up because I need to sign everyone.'

While Jones is influential, the salary cap is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement and league revenue formulas, not the whim of one owner.

Antonio Brown is all the way back and going to be unstoppable

Antonio Brown at the Hard Knocks bump. Yes. He looks like he's all the way back and it's going to be unstoppable.

Antonio Brown never played a regular-season game for the Raiders and his season was a total disaster due to off-field issues and conduct.

The 2019 season of Hard Knocks earns a score of 2.8 out of 5 balls

Finale of Hard Knocks. Balls, I'm giving it two point eight balls. Five ball system. I'd say two and a half if it wasn't very good... Jon Gruden saved it.

The ball scale is a subjective rating system used by the show to evaluate media and events.

Mark Davis is a legitimate draw who puts 'asses in the seats' because people are fascinated by his appearance

Mark Davis puts asses in the seats. That's a fact. Yeah. It's true. It's one way or the other whether you're repulsed or [intrigued]... you will want to show up to look at watch Mark Davis's ass on a seat standing in an office.

Whether an owner's appearance draws ticket sales is inherently subjective, though the Raiders did successfully move to a sold-out stadium in Vegas shortly after.

The Chiefs' window never closed

I don't think we ever actually closed the Chiefs' window. I think Mahomes was just in bed because he was injured, far away from the window.

The Chiefs' long-term contention status is ultimately subjective, though their dynasty remained active at the time of the episode.

Mahomes will be back to himself by season's end

By the end of this season, Mahomes is gonna be back to being Mahomes.

Whether Mahomes returned to his established level by the end of the 2026 NFL season had not yet been resolved.

The Oregon loss could turn Dan Lanning into a psychopath

I don't think that Dan Lanning has slept since that loss. I think Dan Lanning has turned into an absolute psycho because of this loss. He's sick. It actually might be a dangerous thing for the rest of the Big Ten that Oregon lost that game.

Whether the loss made Oregon more dangerous over the rest of the season is a future, testable team-performance claim.
