Life skills like gambling and buying weed teach more math than school classes

I've learned 50 times as much math from gambling and smoking weed and buying weed than I ever did in any sort of math class.

Subjective personal assessment of learning.

The St. Louis Dispatch's leaked 'championship' ad is more embarrassing than the mistake itself

I don't really blame the St. Louis Dispatch because they do have to be prepared. But to get that leaked is the big issue here. I think what happened was they were trying to sell ads... and then somebody took a picture of that email and sent it out.

This is a subjective opinion on which part of a media gaffe is more embarrassing.

A Bruins Stanley Cup Game 7 at home is a once-in-a-lifetime sports event

It's like Game 7 at home Bruins once in a lifetime thing, but I'm not a diehard Bruins fan. But it's your birthday and it's a party.

Sports fans are forbidden from shaving their beards during a deep playoff run

If you're a sports fan and you're a fan of your hockey team and they're in fucking Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final and you have a beard, you cannot shave it. I don't care if you're superstitious.

The Blues lost Game 6 but won Game 7, so Hamm's shave didn't ultimately curse the team to lose the Cup, though it likely caused the Game 6 loss in Big Cat's mind.

The 2026 World Cup final was boring and sucked.

It was boring ass soccer. It sucked. It made me thankful that the World Cup's over, that football's back. Now we can get back into real football, which I'm very, very thankful for. But that was actually, I think that was the best way to end the World Cup, because I'm totally fine with no more soccer now.

Fanatics Fest is a cynical place designed only to take money from fans.

It also seems like the most cynical place ever. Like, you can go to an autograph festival or a fan festival and you know that the guys are being paid to be there. And they're still like, happy to see, interact with you, all that shit. It just seems like every single thing about being at that place is just designed to take money from the people that are there.

Subjective critique of a corporate event.

Bryson DeChambeau is being targeted by selective rule enforcement.

I think that Bryson definitely did it and it's definitely against the rules. And he got caught for it and they enforced it against him because he's a bad boy. He's had some run-ins before. I don't think the R&A or whatever, I don't think they're particularly happy with Bryson right now.

Subjective opinion about the internal motives of golf officials.
