New Washington Football Team tight end Sammis Reyes is a future Hall of Famer

My Washington football team just signed a collegiate basketball player to play tight end. He's never played football before. His name is Sammis Reyes. He's 6'6", 260, runs a 4.65. He's the baby Gronk, the next baby Gronk... in my mind, he's already a Hall of Famer.

Sammis Reyes played sparingly in the NFL and did not become a Hall of Famer; he is currently out of the league.

Julian Edelman will eventually make the Hall of Fame in 20 years because the 'Patriots Dynasty' narrative will keep it alive

If I had to guess, I think [Edelman] will end up in it in 20 years because people will keep it alive and it will grow in stature... whenever 150 [anniversary] comes and they start opening the door to everyone and they clean up the Hall of Fame. That feels like a Julian Edelman [year].

Edelman is not in the Hall of Fame yet. It will take at least 20 years to see if this specific prediction of him being 'grandfathered' in comes true.

Julian Edelman isn't actually retiring and will try to come back

I have a lot of faith in his work ethic, and I think he definitely is going to try to rehab it and come back. [Edelman] isn't actually retired.

Edelman never returned to the NFL following his April 2021 retirement announcement.

The Hall of Fame has a bias against the slot receiver position

Does the Hall of Fame have a bias towards a position like slot receiver? Because it's similar to a nose tackle who doesn't get the sacks. A slot receiver might not have all the receiving yards or all the touchdowns, but he's impacting the game in another way.

This is a subjective debate about voting trends in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The Rams' Australia travel plan was an all-time 'fuck it' move

It was a terrible idea that Sean McVay tried to do, but I have to respect how much of an all-time fuck-it move it was to just pretend that time zones don't exist. He was just like, you know what, fuck it, we're not gonna adapt. We're gonna fly in, fly out.

The Rams lost the Australia opener after using the fly-in/fly-out approach, supporting the criticism in this game-specific judgment.

KOC will get the best out of Kyler Murray

I think that what he's gonna get the absolute best outta Kyler Murray that he possibly can at this point, which I think should be good enough to be a pretty good team this year.

Kyler Murray's 2026 season and Minnesota's performance will determine whether this forecast holds.

Jayden Daniels is going to remind everyone that the bad man is back

I think Jayden Daniels, he's as healthy as he has been since the start of last season. ... I think that he's gonna remind a lot of people who he is. Yeah. That's what I think. I think the bad man might be back.

Daniels' 2026 season will determine whether he re-established himself as an elite or feared quarterback.
