Ron Rivera will be the next head coach of the Washington Redskins

I think Ron Rivera is gonna be the next head coach of the [Redskins]. And I think they're going to get an actual GM.

Ron Rivera was officially hired as the Redskins head coach on January 1, 2020.

Pete Carroll took a deliberate delay of game to avoid another goal-line mistake with Marshawn Lynch

I actually think conspiracy theory here that Pete Carroll took the delay game on purpose because he didn't want to be stuck in a situation where he screwed up on the one-yard line again with Marshawn Lynch back... Pete Carroll kind of saved himself from himself by backing it up to the 6-yard line.

While the delay of game was a major mistake, there is no evidence it was a psychological ploy by Carroll to avoid a goal-line decision.

Russell Wilson is the best quarterback to have with the ball at the end of a game

In terms of quarterbacks I want to have the ball at the end of the game, [Russell Wilson] is my number one. Yeah, he's my number one, even though they didn't score there, he's still my number one because he did everything to get them to score.

Subjective opinion on quarterback clutchness.

Kyle Shanahan lowered the 49ers' win probability by 19% by punting on fourth and one

Kyle Shanahan you kind of let me down by punting there on fourth and one when your offense is so good... their percentage to win the game went down by 19 percent by punting instead of going I thought they should have gone for it.

Analytical models at the time generally agreed that punting in that specific high-leverage fourth-and-short situation was a significant win-probability error.

Conor McGregor likely fought on an existing injury and aggravated it during the fight

I think it was probably hurt and probably aggravated it during the fight. Now, would it shock me to know that Conor McGregor tore his ACL in training and then he just pretended that it wasn't hurt? No, that wouldn't surprise me either. But I think it was probably something wrong with it and when he went out there to try to fight on it immediately, just it told him, 'no, you can't do this.'

While confirmed by some medical reports later, the exact state of his knee pre-fight remains a point of debate.

England was the much better team, but Erling Haaland is a one-man squad for Norway

England was a much, much better team. But... that guy that didn't pass the ball to Erling Haaland, give me a break. Haaland, you are a one man team and that's okay.

Subjective opinion on Haaland's role.

The World Cup being expanded to 64 teams is just a monetization play by Gianni Infantino

He wanted to turn it into American sports and he wanted to use this World Cup to learn how we're able to monetize every single facet of our sports. And the fact that it was somebody whispered like, 'Hey, you know, the NCAA tournament they used to do 64, everybody loved that bracket.' He thought about that and he was like, 'that's a great idea. I think I will, I'll try to do that.'

The World Cup expansion is a fact; the motivation is subjective but widely believed to be financial.
