The Spurs will beat the Knicks in seven games

I believe fully Spurs in Seven.

The Spurs would need to win three straight games, including two at MSG. Possible but historically unlikely.

A $5,000 ticket to Game 4 of the Knicks-Spurs Finals was actually a bargain

The $5,000 get in price was actually a bargain if you went to that game and you're a Knicks fan because what you got was probably the best night of, of your life... sports will not get any better than that, than if you paid five grand to go to Madison Square Garden last night.

The Knicks had a historic comeback in Game 4 of the 2026 Finals. Value is subjective but the event was undeniably historic.

No lead is too big against the Knicks

There's no lead that's too big... against The Knicks. It's not like a fluke. It's, this is what this Knicks team is. They are a team that, that, that will step up in big moments and not give in.

Subjective assessment of team identity, though backed by their performance in the 2026 playoffs.

The San Antonio Spurs are the stupidest good team in the NBA

The Spurs are the stupidest team. They're the stupidest good team that I've ever seen. And they're consistently stupid in big moments.

Subjective evaluation of a team's game management.

Victor Wembanyama is not a dirty player, he just gets frustrated by physical play

I don't think he's a dirty player. I think I personally, I love the elbow in the Minnesota series. I think everybody's got a breaking point. It kind of reminds me when I was a kid and... you're so much bigger than the other kids... they beat you up. They're hanging on you, they're grabbing you and you just, you kind of get to your breaking point. And I think as he gets older, as he matures, he will learn how to channel that better.

Subjective evaluation of a player's intent.

The Charlotte Hornets will be 4-1 by the time this interview airs on Monday.

Actually, we're probably not going to have this interview until Monday, so what's your record going to be then? [Spencer Hawes]: Probably 4-1.

The Hornets beat the Nets 99-95 on Nov 4, 2016, to reach a 4-1 record.

Being ranked outside the top four in the College Football Playoff provides motivation for the Washington Huskies.

I actually think that it's going to provide us some good motivation being outside of the top four. Don't let the kids get complacent. Don't let them start reading all the headlines. Flip the script on them a little bit. Control our own destiny.

Washington finished the season 12-1, won the Pac-12, and made the College Football Playoff as the #4 seed.
