I don't think he's worth 40 million dollars. And I think that you probably have to sit down, Dak, and be like, dude, I know that you want this much money, but would you rather this much money or maybe win a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys?

Dak eventually signed a 4-year, $160M contract ($40M/year) in 2021. While the cap rose, he has not yet led them to a Super Bowl, though he has played at a high level.

Danny [Vitale]'s been awesome. We want to be able to run everything out of 21 personnel. And a lot of teams don't see that anymore. So it is a little bit of an advantage, especially if you get a guy that can catch the ball out of the backfield.

Vitale played 15 games in 2019, catching 7 passes for 97 yards and serving as a lead blocker, though he wasn't a statistical 'weapon' in the traditional sense.

Pass interference review rules might actually favor the defense

Honestly, I think it could be an advantage from a defensive perspective, considering that all scoring plays are under automatic review. And you see a lot of rub or pick plays down in that red area. So it could actually help the defense.

The PI review rule was largely considered a failure and was scrapped after just one season (2019) due to a lack of overturns.

I actually think Antonio Brown is – I think there's something wrong with him. I think that he's, like, going crazy. He's had, like – an actual mental break that doesn't mean that like we can't joke around about the whole helmet saga because that is fucking hilarious but I actually think that there's something wrong with the guy.

While speculative, Brown's subsequent years (confronting GMs, mid-game exits) led many to share this sentiment. It's an early take on what became a recurring theme in his career.

The Derek Carr media hype machine that's trying to get behind a guy who we really know who he is, and that's not a terrible quarterback, but he's not a superstar quarterback, is very, very funny to me. Because they're basically trying to wheel themselves into Derek Carr as our starter.

Derek Carr's career trajectory largely bore this out; he remained a middle-of-the-pack starter but never achieved superstar status, eventually leaving the Raiders.

It's very obvious that Jon Gruden is not going to let them show anything that's remotely interesting. We just have to hope for next week with Sean McVay trying to out-Gruden Jon Gruden.

My hot seat is the NFL 100 logo. I'm already sick of it... It's not that cool of a logo to begin with, but they've put it everywhere so far this year... It looks a little bit like an Expansion League football logo... like the AAF logo if it was designed by somebody with a head wound.

I think they should hold firm because as it stands right now, Ezekiel Elliott has one year left on his deal... Kirk Cousins is the most average quarterback of all time

Kirk Cousins, probably the most average quarterback that these two eyes have ever seen. He will beat every team that is less than 8-8, and he will lose to every team that is better than 8-8... you never expect him to do anything great, and guess what? He never does.

While Cousins has remained consistently productive, he won a major playoff game against the 13-3 Saints in the 2019 playoffs, slightly complicating the 'loses to winning teams' narrative.
