The Colts are in deep water because they have the toughest remaining schedule in the NFL.

The Colts could be in deep water because the Colts have the toughest remaining strength to schedule based on win percentage. They play the Jaguars, the Seahawks, the 49ers, the Jaguars and the Texans. Those are all playoff teams right now.

This will be proven by the Colts' final record and whether they make the playoffs.

Cooper Flagg is significantly better than we thought he was after watching him in Summer League

I think Cooper flag went off. I think he did too. Yeah. I think he's better than we thought he was. ... Significantly better than we thought he was.

This prediction about Flagg's ceiling is pending his rookie season performance.

I can swim 100 yards underwater and hold my breath for 5 minutes

[Billy Football's question] was how far can you swim underwater... 100 yards. You can? Yeah. [And] how long can you stay underwater if you're not moving? I don't know. Maybe around five minutes.

While difficult to verify without a test, these are plausible numbers for a 12-time Olympic medalist swimmer.

T.J. Watt will be a better player than me if he stays healthy

If he stays healthy and, and I, I hope he stays healthy and I hope he does. He'll break every record I got and he'll absolutely be a better player than me. There's no doubt for a single season, for a single, like being able to do everything. I I I won't give up that title.

T.J. Watt has already won a DPOY and holds elite sack numbers, but JJ's 20.5 sack seasons and multiple DPOY awards set a very high bar.

Aaron Rodgers will retire sooner rather than later

I'm excited to see how long [Aaron Rodgers] can drag out this off season with his decision to retire or not. I actually think it's gonna be sooner rather than later. I think that he's probably gonna walk away.

The outcome of Rodgers' retirement is pending after the Jan 14, 2026 episode date.

Travis Hunter will have a 10 TD, 5 INT, 2 Pick-Six season in the NFL

10 receiving touchdowns, five picks, and maybe two pick sixes. That's doable. That doesn't even seem that crazy.

No player in modern NFL history has achieved these specific totals in a single season.

Travis Hunter will be more impressive in the NFL than Shohei Ohtani is in MLB

You think Travis Hunter will be more impressive than Shohei Ohtani? Definitely. I'm gonna be vindicated. I welcome the hate when it came, but in two years' time I wanna be sitting pretty.

Highly unlikely given Ohtani's historic status, but requires time in the NFL to judge.

There is a greater chance of America taking over Toronto than the Maple Leafs winning a Stanley Cup

I think that there's a greater chance of America, like slowly encroaching into Canada and taking their land away and taking Toronto, than there is like the Maple Leafs winning a Stanley Cup before that time.

OpinionHockeyFireSarcastic
Neither has happened yet, but the Maple Leafs' drought has continued since 2016.

Deshaun Watson having a comeback is the final boss of 'who's the next Sam Darnold'

With all the discourse around Sam Darnold quarterback reclamation projects, it's actually kind of cool to see Darnold being in the Super Bowl. Teams are gonna be like, who's the next Sam Darnold? I found myself this morning thinking about like, what if Deshaun Watson's just good again? What if he's just good? That might be the final boss of who's the next Sam Darnold.

Whether Deshaun Watson has a career resurgence is beyond my knowledge cutoff.

The winner of the Bills vs. Jaguars game will be the most dangerous 'watch out' team in the playoffs.

The team who wins this game, like, that's the watch out team. Because I do think the Jags are very, very good. And it's just... Josh Allen is the ultimate 'doesn't matter, he could just be Superman' guy in these playoffs.

The Bills won 27-24; their performance in the divisional round will determine if they are truly the 'watch out' team.

Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers are a dangerous 'watch out' team in the playoffs due to their defense and running game.

Aaron Rodgers to me makes them watch out. Because you just get into a playoff game, you play great defense, you run the football, you win the line of scrimmage... He's the kind of guy that can take advantage of it. So I'd be super careful with Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers.

The outcome of the Steelers/Texans game and subsequent playoff rounds will determine their 'watch out' status.

The Browns will be a very good team in two years once they clear Deshaun Watson's contract.

I actually think that the Browns might be in a good position for the next, like two, two years from now. ... Deshaun Watson, I think has an $80 million cap hit that's about to kick in. ... I actually think two years from now, the Browns could be a very good team.

This is a long-term prediction for the 2026/2027 seasons.

Aaron Rodgers might be washed because Davante Adams chose to play with Matthew Stafford over waiting for him

That also might mean that Aaron Rogers could be washed. Because Davante Adams [to the] Rams. Wouldn't you think he would be like, oh, I'm gonna wait to see where Rogers goes. And he is like, no, I'd actually rather just go with Stafford.

Rodgers' performance in the upcoming season will determine if he is indeed 'washed' following his injury and age.

The character we saw at the end of the Severance finale was actually Outie Helly

I feel like the real theory is that it's Outie Helly at the end of the episode. Because she brings him in back and smiled at Gemma. And Irv said Innie Helly was never cruel. And it was kind of a cruel looking smile when she looked at Gemma and was like, 'I won.'

Season 3 of Severance will reveal who was in control during that scene.

Oregon could be in serious playoff trouble if they lose to USC this weekend

What happens if Oregon loses this weekend? ... They could be in trouble because the one win that they have on their schedule that's really doing a lot of work is the Penn State win... the committee is still valuing that Penn State win as being a quality win because it's back when Penn State was good. ... but if you're looking for an argument against Oregon, if they lose this weekend, that's where you go.

Depends on the result of the Oregon-USC game and the subsequent CFP rankings.

Oregon is better than every single team in the SEC this season

That team [Indiana] went into Autzen and was the better football team against the Oregon team that... look like they have seven weapons again and their quarterback looks like he's one of the best in the country... I have Oregon in my rankings ahead of all those SEC teams still because I think that much of Indiana.

Subjective ranking that can be tested in the playoffs.

Travis Hunter will be drafted as a cornerback and only used as a part-time 'spot' wide receiver in the NFL

I think when he gets drafted, [Hunter], they will draft him as a corner. And they would spot play him as a wide receiver. Because if he gets on a pro team, he can legitimately be your best corner, but he's probably gonna be your third best receiver.

Hunter's NFL role will be determined starting in the 2025 season.

The NFL is in trouble because watching on a couch is 10 times better than going to a stadium

The NFL's in trouble. I think in terms of like ticket sales, they're gonna start building smaller stadiums, I think in the future. Cause like it is the, the cat's outta the bag. Your couch is 10 times more comfortable than going to a stadium.

While stadium attendance remains high, there is a trend toward smaller, more 'boutique' stadium designs (like the Titans' new stadium plans).
