Andrew Santino In Studio, Week 2 Picks And Preview, Packers Dominate The Commanders + Fyre Fest Of The Week

Friday, September 12, 202516 takes

TNF and the Packers are a problem. PFT did not have fun watching the Packers dominate the Commanders and is dispelling all rumors of lil bro ass allegations on Jayden Daniels (-). We then do our Week 2 picks and preview for every game including who would win in a fight a Jaguar or a Bengal, who would win in a race a Colt or Mustang, the Ravens rubbing the Browns nose in it and a Super Bowl rematch (-). Best bets and Jerry's fantasy minute (-). Andrew Santino joins us in studio to talk about his new special, some football, golf, acting in Hollywood and how he's slightly given up in a great way, and more (-). We finish with Fyre Fest of the week (-).

Andrew Santino on Hollywood, Week 2 NFL Picks, and Packers Dominance

The Green Bay Packers are terrifying. After watching them dismantle the Commanders on Thursday night, Big Cat and PFT were left trying to find new adjectives for how good Jordan Love looks. It wasn't just a win; it was a physical reminder that the Packers simply have a factory in the basement of Lambeau that churns out franchise quarterbacks every fifteen years. Big Cat is so all-in on this roster that he’s already checking the schedule for next February.

The Green Bay Packers are a generational, once-in-a-lifetime team

The Green Bay Packers are a problem. Generational team. We said if they don't win the Super Bowl, it would be the greatest upset in the history of sports. And they are so good. They're guaranteed to win this Super Bowl and probably next year's Super Bowl.

The Packers did not win the Super Bowl in the 2024 season.

PFT was left in the wreckage of a nine-point loss that felt like fifty. Between Jayden Daniels running for his life and the defense looking like a sieve, it was a reality check for the Commanders. While there were some bright spots like Deebo looking electric, PFT is coming to terms with the fact that his squad might just be a middle-of-the-pack team this season.

The Commanders will win 10 games but are not good enough to beat elite teams

I think we're like an above average team right now. I think we're like a 10 win team. But that's like our, our, we're not gonna beat the good teams, the very good teams. It was just, it was ugly.

The Commanders went 5-12 in 2025, not 10 wins. Jayden Daniels was injured and played only 7 games. The team severely underperformed from PFT's 10-win projection.

Despite the tough outing for the rookie, the loyalty to Jayden Daniels remains unshakable. PFT isn't letting one bad game against a generational defense ruin the hype train, even if Big Cat noted that Bobby Wagner might be losing a step in the middle of the field.

I wouldn't trade Jaden Daniels for any other player in the NFL right now

I wouldn't trade, I don't think that there's a player in the NFL that I would trade for Jaden [Daniels] right now. He had a bad game. I think that's fair. I but he, he wasn't the main problem tonight.

The take is subjective as it's a personal preference on trade value, though most would value Mahomes or Allen higher.

Week 2 Picks and Preview

The board is loaded with revenge games and bizarre animal matchups. The guys broke down Jaguars vs. Bengals, which led to a deep dive into the physical capabilities of big cats. While the Jaguars have the bite force, Big Cat is trusting the raw mass of the Bengal tiger to carry the day in the jungle.

A Bengal tiger would kill a Jaguar in a fight every single time

I just looked at AI and a Bengal would kill a Jaguar like a hundred out of a hundred times. A Jaguar does have one of like the the fiercest bites in the animal kingdom. The problem is the Bengal outweighs the Jaguar by like 200 pounds.

Biological facts support that Bengal tigers are significantly larger and more powerful than Jaguars.

Attention then turned to the Bears and the ongoing Caleb Williams saga. After a shaky debut, Big Cat is actually calling for his quarterback to be more aggressive, even if it leads to some turnovers. He wants to see the "hesitancy" disappear and see Caleb actually let the ball fly downfield against the Lions.

Caleb Williams needs to take more shots and throw more interceptions

I wouldn't mind if Caleb had a couple more interceptions. We're getting to a point now where he doesn't throw interceptions and it feels like I'd like him to take some more shots. Just take a couple shots. Take like that hesitancy he talked about himself. Let it rip.

This is a subjective philosophy on quarterback development.

The schedule also features a potential passing of the torch in New York, with the guys speculating on when Russell Wilson might finally get the hook. PFT has a specific date in mind for the Jaxson Dart era to officially begin.

Jaxson Dart will get his first start for the Giants against the Chargers

My prediction was that Dart gets in against the Chargers. That would be his first start I think. I don't know if it's gonna be a clean benching for Russell Wilson. I think they might do the Dart packages and they might like slowly incorporate Dart into the games.

Jaxson Dart's first NFL start was indeed against the Chargers in Week 4 (September 28), exactly as PFT predicted. The Giants won that game.

Andrew Santino in Studio

Friend of the program Andrew Santino stopped by the office to talk about his new special, *White Noise*, which is out now on Hulu. The conversation hit everything from the nightmare of Disney adults to the bizarre hierarchy of Hollywood acting. Santino shared some hilarious behind-the-scenes struggles with Disney executives regarding his jokes about their adult fanbases.

Disney adults without kids should be sent to jail

I just think there should be two lines at Disney. One for people with kids and one for people without. And the people with kids get to go in the park and the people without get to go to jail, you have to go to jail. There should be a line right into a jail cell.

A satirical policy proposal that is inherently subjective.

Santino also revealed that he’s reached a point of total zen regarding his career. He’s tired of the development hell that comes with movies and TV shows, where scripts are bought just to be shelved by executives who used to run snack companies. He’s leaning fully into the podcasting and stand-up life where he can actually be himself.

I am done with acting in Hollywood movies and will focus only on stand-up and podcasting

I'm out dude. I have no business in the business. I'm out. Stand up and podcasting. I'm 42 in a month and I've had a great, I love doing Dave... but the business has changed and I have more fun doing stand-up and podcasting by far than I ever did doing that other stuff.

This is a statement of personal intent and professional priority.

To wrap things up, the guys hit Fyre Fest of the Week. PFT had a legendary struggle with the Chicago city impound lot that cost him over a grand, Hank admitted to a total pitching meltdown in a playoff softball game, and Big Cat is still trying to figure out why he bought a luxury van that he doesn't have a license plate for yet.

Hopefully, the Bears can complete more passes than Hank did strikes this weekend.

I would still take Jaden Daniels over Jordan Love long-term

I did do Barstool Sports Advisors before this game tonight and I said that Jaden Daniels is the better quarterback than Jordan Love. It was not true tonight. I still would take Jaden Daniels overall, although tonight made me nervous 'cause Jordan Love looked pretty dialed in.

Long-term quarterback comparisons are inherently subjective and take years to resolve.

Bobby Wagner is reaching the end of his career

I would be nervous a little bit about the defense because it felt like Bobby Wagner might be getting to the end of it because Tucker Craft was just eating you guys alive in the middle of the field.

Bobby Wagner's career trajectory is a subjective assessment. While the Commanders went 5-12, attributing that to Wagner's decline specifically requires more detailed analysis.

The Patriots will be better than the Commanders this season

I'm not giving up on the Patriots. It's, it's a long season. They could definitely be better than the Commanders.

The Patriots (14-3) were vastly better than the Commanders (5-12) in 2025. Hank's homer take was absolutely correct.

Mike Vrabel will dominate Mike McDaniel because McDaniel is a dork

The minute a fat guy walks in and says, that's a dork. It sticks in my head. And now in my head it's Mike Vrabel versus Dork. I'm gonna take Mike Vrabel. It just feels like Mike Vrabel versus dork is a mismatch.

The Patriots (coached by Vrabel) went 14-3 in 2025, while the Dolphins (coached by McDaniel) went 7-10 and McDaniel was fired. Vrabel dominated their matchups.

Kyle Shanahan will coach extra hard to prove Mac Jones was the right pick

Kyle Shanahan's gonna put a little extra mustard on it to be like, I'm not sleeping at all this week. I need to prove that Mac Jones was the guy and I should have picked Mac Jones and Mac Jones can be a really good starter in the NFL.

Mac Jones remained a backup and the 49ers eventually moved on, suggesting this 'redemption' arc didn't materialize.

The Buffalo Bills are going to go undefeated and win the Super Bowl

Bills have the easiest schedule now. Undefeated. Would it, wouldn't it be funny if the bills went undefeated? It's week one. I'm not gonna overreact, but I think that the Buffalo Bills are gonna go undefeated. Win the Super Bowl.

The Bills would need to go 20-0 to make this true.

The Indianapolis Colts are going to make the playoffs this year

I think the Colts are gonna make the playoffs this year. I'll tell you that much. I, I, looking at their schedule... they don't have a hard schedule. And Anthony Richardson looked awesome. I think he's gonna be good enough to win a majority of their games if he stays healthy.

The Colts finished 9-8 and missed the playoffs in the 2024 season.

The Kansas City Chiefs are going to win their Week 2 game against the Eagles

I think Chiefs are gonna win this game... I'm just simply taking it because the Chiefs are 21 and 4 straight up off a loss with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. I just can't imagine them starting 0 and 2.

The Chiefs defeated the Bengals in Week 2, 2024. However, the take mentions playing the Eagles, who they did not play in Week 2. This is likely a scheduling error in the conversation or a misunderstanding of the opponent.
