The show opens with some heavy real-life news as PFT shares that his father passed away. In true PMT fashion, PFT decides to do the show as an escape, even leading the charge on the first joke of the day about his dad never seeing Hank win the lottery ball. It’s a touching start that quickly pivots back to the sports world to keep the energy up.
NBA Playoff Chaos
Draymond Green is back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons after stomping on Domantas Sabonis. Big Cat hates the suspension because it gives Warriors fans a built-in excuse, while PFT thinks the league overreacted to a guy just trying to get his leg free.

I don't think he should have been suspended for it because he got, he got his foot grabbed and it wasn't even that hard of a stomp. Yeah, he's a big guy and you probably shouldn't step on another man's sternum intentionally, but at the same time, like his foot was being grabbed, you gotta get the guy off you somehow. I think it should have been a flagrant, I don't think he should have been suspended.
The Kings are officially the coolest story in sports right now. The Beam is reaching mythical status, and Sacramento actually looks like the better team down the stretch. Big Cat, however, is already envisioning the most painful possible ending for the Kings' faithful.

And in a moment of pure common sense, PFT proposes a massive rule change for the NBA to stop players from pretending they are playing defense when they are actually just protecting their vitals.

we came to the conclusion that they should cancel charges if you step in front of a guy and put your hands in front of your nuts... for two reasons. One, that's not a defense, it's not a defensive move. You can't make a defensive play if your hands are covering your balls. And also you should be willing to get hit in the nuts to take a charge. That should be part of the price that you pay.
Celtics Dominance and NHL Overtime
Hank is riding high on the Celtics after they dismantled the Hawks. He’s already looking past the first round and planning the demise of the Sixers, especially with the way Robert Williams is moving on the court.

My biggest problem with this was that he said 22 weeks and then I had to sit down and break down how pregnant that was my brain by doing math. That's what pissed me off. Just say months...
