October is officially here, and the sports calendar is finally doing what it’s supposed to do. The Minnesota Twins actually won a playoff game, breaking an 18-game postseason losing streak that stretched back to 2004. Big Cat felt for the fans in Minnesota, noting that while losing is part of the game, there are levels to the suffering.

Before shifting to the diamond, the guys had to address the absolute car crash that was Monday Night Football. The Giants look broken, and the offensive line is doing Daniel Jones zero favors, but at some point, the blame has to land on the guy under center. PFT didn't mince words about the $40 million man.

Despite the carnage, PFT is refusing to jump off the Drew Lock hype train. Even with the Giants looking like a bottom-tier team, there is always a silver lining if you look hard enough at the backup quarterback situation.

Wednesday means college football talk, and the guys are debating who actually deserves the number one spot. Big Cat is all-in on Big Ten dominance, convinced that the Jim Harbaugh revenge tour is reaching its final destination.

Meanwhile, in the SEC, Georgia is still winning, but they don't look like the untouchable juggernaut of the last two years. Big Cat sees a blemish coming for the Bulldogs, even if they have a literal cheat code at tight end.

Out West, the Caleb Williams experience is reaching a tipping point. The guys discussed how much longer Lincoln Riley can get away with fielding a defense that makes every game a track meet.

Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans joined the show to talk about the incredible start to the CJ Stroud era. He broke down the transition from being a star linebacker to a quality control coach, explaining that he had to learn the "science" of coaching from the ground up. Ryans shared insights into Stroud’s preparation, calling him a true football junkie who requests extra film constantly.
He also touched on his time in San Francisco and Washington, giving flowers to the most dominant player he’s ever seen on the offensive side of the ball.

On a lighter note, the Milwaukee Brewers' late-season surge was attributed to a very specific bobblehead giveaway that Big Cat believes changed the course of the NL Central race.

The show wrapped up with Jimbos and a philosophical debate from PFT that might actually break the brains of anyone who thinks too hard about hygiene.
