The Rams are a soft football team

My other side of the coin, I will make you say it, but I'll say it, the Rams are soft. The Rams are soft football team right now. And part of it, I think has to do with bringing a bunch of guys in. That's always gotta be hard, right? When you add guys mid season.

The Rams eventually won the Super Bowl this season, proving they were resilient and not 'soft' in the most critical moments.

I want to see Mac Jones face some adversity to see if he is truly the guy

I want to see him [Mac Jones] face some adversity, see how he does with that... I want to see something go wrong. And I want to see the man he is in an adverse situation. Like that's when you see your best leaders, that's when you know the Tom Bradys. Everything looks great right now. He's looking like a really good quarterback. He's taking in the offense. He plays on time.

The Patriots went on to lose their final three games of the regular season and their playoff game; Mac Jones struggled significantly during this period, providing the adversity Edelman sought, though opinions on whether he was 'the guy' soured later.

A truly tough football team can run the ball, stop the run, and cover kicks

This is what defines a tough football team. A physically tough football team, from what I was taught from some guy named Bill [Belichick], a tough football team can run the ball, can stop the run and can cover kicks. What teams do that the best? Baltimore, Patriots, Tennessee.

This is a coaching philosophy/definition of terms. While subjective in application, the claim that these are the three pillars of toughness is a verifiable statement of Belichick's philosophy as reported by Edelman.

I am riding with the Bills to beat the Packers in the Super Bowl

I'm going to ride with the bills. I mean, I got seen some things I got to start to see the offense needs to start getting it going... [Super Bowl prediction] I said, Bills and Green Bay.

The Super Bowl was Rams vs. Bengals. Neither the Bills nor the Packers made the Super Bowl.

Arm length doesn't matter for a tackle as long as the quarterback doesn't have tiny hands

Arm length doesn't always dictate everything. If you have a guy that's got short arms that's playing tackle, it's not the end of the world unless maybe you also have a quarterback with tiny hands, in which case it's like synergy factors. Right. Where if the guy with short arms can't block the guy and then the guy with tiny hands gets hit, more likely to fumble.

Whether specific arm length correlates to fumbles based on QB hand size is largely theoretical and difficult to prove or disprove.

You should never order appetizers at a steakhouse to maximize your sides

I'm of the mindset now that you don't need any appetizers at steakhouses. It's, it's a good place to run Zero apps... You don't need the calamari at a steakhouse... The sides at a steakhouse are elite. The mashed potatoes are always elite... mac and cheese always elite at a steakhouse, you wanna maximize your sides to go with a steak.

This is entirely a matter of personal dining preference.

Trent Williams is the rare offensive lineman who is actually fun to watch play

Trent Williams is a joy to have on your team. He's just a fucking bully. He's also the rare offensive lineman where you have fun watching him play. Like after the ball was snapped, my eyes would just go to Trent Williams because it's like this guy, we might throw an interception, but Trent Williams might punch a guy in the throat.

This is a subjective opinion about entertainment value.
