Adrian Peterson ruined the 2,000-yard rushing benchmark for everyone else

Adrian Peterson ruined the 2,000 yards because he did it right after he was coming off an ACL surgery. So everybody else from that point, if you got an ACL injury, it's like it's not that bad.

Peterson's 2012 season is widely considered one of the most miraculous recoveries in sports history, setting unrealistic standards for others.

Tua Tagovailoa should not have played against the Bengals on Thursday night

The bottom line is I think we talked about this on Sunday night, so it's not like news to us. [Tua] probably shouldn't have been playing tonight. It was scary, especially going into it. We knew that at least we had talked about it, that Tua should not have been in that game.

Tua did suffer a significant concussion during this game, and the NFL/NFLPA later updated concussion protocols as a direct result of this specific sequence of events.

Jeff Bezos should invent an anti-concussion helmet for the NFL

Why hasn't Jeff Bezos tried to invent a machine that can definitively tell you if someone is concussed? Like a helmet that definitively makes it so you can't be concussed? He's invested in football now. He really has gotta put his money where his mouth is. Save football, Jeff Bezos.

The technology for an 'anti-concussion' helmet that prevents all concussions does not currently exist, though safety improvements are constant.

The Bengals are still playing clunky and disorganized football

The Bengals, I don't wanna say they're like back because it does still feel like there's, they have drives where it's just very clunky and disorganized.

The 2022 Bengals did eventually find their rhythm, finishing 12-4 and reaching the AFC Championship game.

Arm length doesn't matter for a tackle as long as the quarterback doesn't have tiny hands

Arm length doesn't always dictate everything. If you have a guy that's got short arms that's playing tackle, it's not the end of the world unless maybe you also have a quarterback with tiny hands, in which case it's like synergy factors. Right. Where if the guy with short arms can't block the guy and then the guy with tiny hands gets hit, more likely to fumble.

Whether specific arm length correlates to fumbles based on QB hand size is largely theoretical and difficult to prove or disprove.

You should never order appetizers at a steakhouse to maximize your sides

I'm of the mindset now that you don't need any appetizers at steakhouses. It's, it's a good place to run Zero apps... You don't need the calamari at a steakhouse... The sides at a steakhouse are elite. The mashed potatoes are always elite... mac and cheese always elite at a steakhouse, you wanna maximize your sides to go with a steak.

This is entirely a matter of personal dining preference.

Trent Williams is the rare offensive lineman who is actually fun to watch play

Trent Williams is a joy to have on your team. He's just a fucking bully. He's also the rare offensive lineman where you have fun watching him play. Like after the ball was snapped, my eyes would just go to Trent Williams because it's like this guy, we might throw an interception, but Trent Williams might punch a guy in the throat.

This is a subjective opinion about entertainment value.
