Switch hitters have to re-learn how to hit every single spring training

I was two completely different hitters. I don't exaggerate when I say this... Every year in spring training, I had to learn how to hit again. I literally would come to spring training, the first few games, I would look like I never played baseball.

This is a personal professional experience from a veteran switch hitter; while it's his specific reality, it reflects the known mechanical challenges of the skill.

Floyd Mayweather plays up his illiteracy to have an excuse for tax issues

I have kind of a stay woke actually on Mayweather. I think that Mayweather isn't actually illiterate but he likes to play it up because that way he has an excuse when he doesn't fill his taxes out correctly.

There is no evidence Mayweather's literacy is a calculated tax strategy; he has faced actual tax issues with the IRS.

Conor McGregor is winning the press conferences but will lose the fight to Mayweather

If [McGregor] does go and get his ass kicked, which I think a lot of people probably lean that way... this is definitely a situation where he's winning the press conference and will most likely lose the fight.

Mayweather defeated McGregor via TKO in the 10th round on August 26, 2017.

Conor McGregor should just foul Floyd Mayweather to avoid an embarrassing boxing loss

What if [McGregor] just starts kicking and grabs Mayweather, throws him to the ground, just beats the shit out of him? Obviously he loses the fight, it's a DQ, but he would beat the shit out of Mayweather. That way you don't have to suffer an embarrassing loss and you get paid a shitload of money.

McGregor did not do this; he fought a standard boxing match and lost by TKO in the 10th round.

Dry-fit jockstraps will change your life and solve the problem of swampy undercarriages

I'm a big clean underwear guy. I probably went on Amazon and like they have these dry fit jock straps for when you like work out or play golf or tennis or something. They will change your life. It is the best thing... most men have this pissed off look on their face. You know why? Walking around sucks... because they're walking around with chafed legs, sweaty, swampy undercarriages.

Subjective hygiene preference, but stated with absolute conviction.

Atlanta is a college sports mecca, which is why the professional teams struggle for support

Atlanta is a college sports mecca. They love their college sports in Atlanta. That's why the pro teams kind of get the shaft a little bit.

This is a common sentiment regarding the sports culture in the Southeast.

The MLB baseballs are wound tighter this season causing more home runs

I think the balls are wound a little tighter this year, no doubt. I think pitchers are throwing harder and guys are stronger, so therefore the ball's just going to go further.

Several studies and eventual admissions by MLB confirmed the ball had less drag and structural changes that contributed to the 2017 home run surge.
