The NFL should not ban the 'tush push' play

I love the tush push. I think if you don't like it, then stop it. Figure out a way to stop it until then. If you don't like it, you can either try to figure out how to make teams stop doing it to you or do it yourself.

The NFL Competition Committee ultimately decided not to ban the play for the 2024 season.

The Eagles would still be 97% successful on the tush push if it were banned

I actually think that if they ban this play, I think the Eagles will still do it. And it will go from like 99% success to like 97% success... 90% of the time [Jalen Hurts] is getting those yards himself.

While the play wasn't banned, the Eagles' success rate dropped slightly in 2024, but they remained the most effective team, supporting the spirit of the take.

The Gillette Stadium structure is the largest lighthouse in the continental U.S.

The Patriots built the largest Lighthouse in continental us. It was, you know, discussed, promoted... Let's make the biggest Lighthouse in the continental US Asterisk. No big deal.

The Patriots marketing team claimed it as the tallest 'functioning' lighthouse in the U.S., but it is not a recognized aid to navigation by the Coast Guard, making the claim technically deceptive.

Charlie Woods is on pace to win 40 majors

Charlie Woods just won a tournament. Charlie won a tournament... right now he's on pace to win 40 Majors, which is pretty incredible.

Highly unlikely to be correct given Tiger himself has 15, and Charlie is still a teenager.

Arm length doesn't matter for a tackle as long as the quarterback doesn't have tiny hands

Arm length doesn't always dictate everything. If you have a guy that's got short arms that's playing tackle, it's not the end of the world unless maybe you also have a quarterback with tiny hands, in which case it's like synergy factors. Right. Where if the guy with short arms can't block the guy and then the guy with tiny hands gets hit, more likely to fumble.

Whether specific arm length correlates to fumbles based on QB hand size is largely theoretical and difficult to prove or disprove.

You should never order appetizers at a steakhouse to maximize your sides

I'm of the mindset now that you don't need any appetizers at steakhouses. It's, it's a good place to run Zero apps... You don't need the calamari at a steakhouse... The sides at a steakhouse are elite. The mashed potatoes are always elite... mac and cheese always elite at a steakhouse, you wanna maximize your sides to go with a steak.

This is entirely a matter of personal dining preference.

Trent Williams is the rare offensive lineman who is actually fun to watch play

Trent Williams is a joy to have on your team. He's just a fucking bully. He's also the rare offensive lineman where you have fun watching him play. Like after the ball was snapped, my eyes would just go to Trent Williams because it's like this guy, we might throw an interception, but Trent Williams might punch a guy in the throat.

This is a subjective opinion about entertainment value.
