Ferrari is going to be awesome in F1 next year due to new regulations

I heard on the street that Ferrari's going to be awesome. Oh, because of the new regulations or some shit. So we'll get in now, and then we look like geniuses. Just saying. That might just be big Ferrari, though.

Ferrari was indeed much better in 2022, winning multiple races early in the season and finishing 2nd in the Constructors' Championship, though they eventually fell behind Red Bull.

Cristiano Ronaldo is not a top three Ronaldo

It's time that we have an honest conversation about Ronaldo. I don't even think he's a top three Ronaldo. You've got Ronaldo, you've got Ronaldinho, who is named Ronaldo... Fat Ronaldo. He's number six overall Ronaldo.

The ranking of players by name is subjective, though most soccer experts would place Cristiano Ronaldo in the top three players of all time, regardless of name.

Federico Chiesa is going to be one of the best players in the entire world

Chiesa is going to be one of the best players in the entire world. I'm just putting an eyeball stamp on it. I said that last week. Then he had that awesome goal. Chiesa, Chiesa, Chiesa.

Chiesa was one of the breakout stars of Euro 2020 (won by Italy) and became a highly-valued player at Juventus, though injuries slowed his ascent somewhat.

The Hawks can only beat the Bucks if Kevin Huerter has an unconscious game

I also think it's going to be very tough for the Hawks to win [the series] unless you have a Kevin Huerter is unconscious game. If Red Velvet's unconscious, then you have a chance... But if you don't get him involved, then, like, what?

While Huerter had some good moments, the Bucks' overall depth and Middleton's takeover (referenced earlier in the show) were the primary factors in the series outcome.

The goal allowed by the US goalie was the most embarrassing possible

What about the goalie? Yeah, I mean he... that was the most embarrassing goal that I've ever seen. Possible.

While subjective, the blunder by the US goalkeeper (Freeze/Turner) was widely mocked as a 'MAC football' level mistake.

The USMNT is the 'James Franklin Penn State' of soccer

People were making very mean jokes online that we were James Franklin, Penn State. And it is actually perfectly appropriate because if you look at who we played, we beat the teams we're supposed to beat... and then we absolutely got ass fucked by the team that was better than us in Belgium. We are not who we thought we were.

Subjective comparison.

We just suck at soccer as a country and that's okay

My take is we suck at soccer and that's okay. Like, I don't care that we suck at soccer anymore. I'm going to root for the US team. I'm gonna get excited when we're in a World Cup. I'm gonna get hyped up and it's gonna be fun to watch. And then I'm gonna be reminded that we suck at soccer and that it's just gonna be like, okay, yeah, that's okay.

Subjective perspective on American soccer.
