The 49ers would have a Super Bowl by now if they had drafted Mac Jones instead of Trey Lance

If the 49ers draft Mac Jones like was rumored instead of Trey Lance, so many things are different. The 49ers probably win a Super Bowl. Mac Jones is one of the highest paid QBs in football. And we never find out just how good Brock Purdy is.

This is an unprovable hypothetical, though Mac Jones did find success later in his career with the 49ers in this specific timeline.

Drake Maye will beat a winning team for the first time this week (Okie Doke)

I think this is the week that that Drake Maye finally beats a team that's above .500. I think he's done a great job getting to this place... he's put in the prep. This is the week where Drake Maye beats a winning team.

The Patriots lost to the Bills 24-21, and the joke was that the Bills were the first team with a winning record they faced.

Mac Jones should stay sidelined with his injury to maximize his free-agent value as a backup

[Mac Jones] should really lean in to the leg injury. Yes. And be like, 'I'm too sore. Please sit me out.' I'm due to make millions of dollars on the open market. At the very least as a, as a great backup.

Subjective career strategy advice.

Aaron Judge will never be a true Yankee unless he wins a World Series

Aaron Judge has to win. He has to. Aaron Judge will not, he will not ever be a true Yankee... [he] has to win a World Series or else. Not a true Yankee. Probably not even. I'll take him out of the Hall of Fame. I won't vote for him.

The Yankees eventually won the World Series in 2026, officially ending this debate for Big Cat.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
