Jaylen Brown turning himself into a 'weapon' mentally drove the Celtics this season
He is a weapon. He is a hundred percent a weapon mentally, psychologically, like he can change an entire building. And I think a lot of what we've done up until this point was like his decision to turn himself into a weapon heading into the season. And I think we were able to all leverage that.

Based on the research that I've done, I think that the last 12 months in DC sports has been a top five all time bad sports year for a city, for a sport, for sports town. All four major sports. I hate the NBA Play-in and won't take it seriously until a 9th or 10th seed goes deep
I hate the playing. I hate the playing... it's stupid and I honestly like, until a team in the ninth or 10th spot can go deep in the playoffs, I'm not gonna take it seriously. The ninth or 10th team are never gonna win. Like, they're never gonna go deep. This isn't serious.

When we were that, that stretch in January where we weren't playing well, I was woke up every day and told myself I'm getting fired if we don't turn. I'm, I'm, I'm done... and I would tell the staff too, I'm like, guys, we're done. Like, you know, we don't figure this thing out, you know, like we, we just, we don't deserve to coach here.
