If the XFL signs Tim Tebow and Johnny Manziel, ESPN will be forced to cover the league despite their NFL partnership.

if you have Tim Tebow and Johnny Manziel in the same league, ESPN, they're going to be like one of those rats that's addicted to cocaine that keeps shocking themselves but keeps going back. They're not going to be able to resist talking about Tim Tebow.

While Manziel played in the AAF and CFL, neither he nor Tebow played in the 2020/2023 XFL, making this specific scenario impossible to verify, but ESPN did eventually cover the XFL extensively.

The new XFL is probably going to suck

I'll give you – it's going to suck. We all agree, right? It's probably going to suck. It's going to be shitty football. The problem with... The XFL is this weird thing.

The 2020 XFL was actually widely praised for its quality and rules before COVID-19 ended the season, so the 'sucking' part was largely incorrect.

The XFL will force the NFL to adapt and implement things that make the NFL better

But here's what it will do, is it's going to force the NFL to actually implement some things that make the NFL better. Because like Skycam, the XFL is going to do one or two things right, and the NFL is going to have to adapt and implement those things.

The NFL has since adopted several XFL-style innovations, including revamped kickoff rules and betting-friendly broadcasts.

Jerry Jones may have helped fund the XFL to screw over Roger Goodell

So it wouldn't shock me if Mr. Shadow Commissioner Jerry Jones maybe helped to fund the start of the NFL, gave him some of the seed money just to fuck Roger Goodell over.

There is no public evidence that Jerry Jones funded the XFL; Vince McMahon sold $100M of WWE stock to fund it.

Duke would have won the National Championship by 50 points if they had reached the final.

I think if Duke plays in the championship game, they win by 50. Easily. That was a wasted opportunity.

This is a hyperbolic counterfactual that cannot be proven, making it subjective.

Michigan is already the favorite to win the National Championship again next season.

Michigan I think is right now the favorites to win next season. Tough to win back to back, but he has to hit the portal. He has to be active... which he already is.

This is a prediction for the next college basketball season.

College basketball is now 'pay to win' and that's unsustainable

It's a pay to win tournament. Like basketball is ruined. Unsustainable. Yeah, that's the new word that I keep hearing.

Subjective opinion about the direction of college sports governance.
