You often learn more by cheating in college than you do by actually reading

I'm also a big fan of just the grind set in general... sometimes you learn more by cheating and learning how to pass that way than you would actually learn from reading.

This is a philosophical claim about practical skill acquisition versus academic learning.

Wisconsin will probably be a two-seed in the 2022 NCAA tournament

now we're sitting here in the call center and they're a two seed, probably a two seed. At least I don't want him to be a one seed. That's too much pressure.

Wisconsin ultimately received a 3-seed in the 2022 NCAA Tournament Midwest region.

I am a phonetic reader, so Jakob Poeltl's name is Jacob Puddle

We've learned on the show—I am a phonetic reader. Jacob Puddle. I said Yaka Pearl. I'm seeing Yaka Patil. Either way, he told me her name.

The joke is correct about Hank's reading style, but 'Jacob Puddle' is obviously not the correct pronunciation of Jakob Poeltl.

Zion Williamson is a better player when he is fat

I'm going to say something controversial. I think that Zion Williamson is a better player when he's fat. I want him to get fat. Well, in fact, well he D he doesn't play right now. He's a better players to get fatter. Yeah. He just needs to get so fat that they roll them out there.

This is a subjective and satirical claim about performance vs. weight.

Duke would have won the National Championship by 50 points if they had reached the final.

I think if Duke plays in the championship game, they win by 50. Easily. That was a wasted opportunity.

This is a hyperbolic counterfactual that cannot be proven, making it subjective.

Michigan is already the favorite to win the National Championship again next season.

Michigan I think is right now the favorites to win next season. Tough to win back to back, but he has to hit the portal. He has to be active... which he already is.

This is a prediction for the next college basketball season.

College basketball is now 'pay to win' and that's unsustainable

It's a pay to win tournament. Like basketball is ruined. Unsustainable. Yeah, that's the new word that I keep hearing.

Subjective opinion about the direction of college sports governance.
