Hockey guys must check their kids' candy bags for tampered candy after trick-or-treating

Yeah, you know, I mean, you got to check the candy bags when you get home, though, eh?

This is a subjective parenting/lifestyle opinion rooted in the 'hockey guy' trope.

Aroldis Chapman's ankle will be swollen and he will feel the injury in Game 7

Tomorrow it's going to swell. [Chapman] is going to feel it. He's probably, I don't know, maybe he's got some recovery water... but tomorrow it's going to swell. He's going to feel it.

Chapman pitched 1.1 innings in Game 7, allowing 2 runs (including the Rajai Davis homer), though his physical status regarding 'swelling' was not the primary storyline compared to his fatigue.

Aroldis Chapman being brought in for the 9th inning of a 7-run game was weird managing

The ninth was a little weird when it ended up being a seven-run game. But we shall see.

Subjective opinion on baseball strategy, though widely shared by analysts at the time.

The 2016 World Series is engineered for the Cubs to win in seven games

I think that this has all been engineered behind the scenes, and you're going to be the one that reaps all the rewards. So congratulations in advance on tonight's World Series champion, your 2016 Chicago Cubs.

The Cubs did win Game 7 and the World Series.

It is physically impossible to chug a beer out of the Buffalo Sabres sword

The mc of the event's, like, dude, these things you can't chug out of 'em. You have to drink it slow because you can't chug. They end up spilling. It's impossible to chug. I said, oh, all right. Well I wish you told me that beforehand mc guy.

While potentially difficult, 'impossible' is likely hyperbole to cover for a poor performance.

Connor McDavid has lost his superpower due to injury

McDavid's hurt. And it just sucks... It's like he lost his superpower. So he skates like no one I've ever seen before... And now he doesn't have that. He still has the straightaway speed, I've noticed... but the little cutbacks where he is beating D out of the corner... He doesn't have it.

The impact of the injury on his playstyle is visible to scouts and analysts.

The NBA product has never been worse

The product's never been worse. The NBA and I don't watch it. So you can say, how do you know the product? It's, it's terrible. And if you're not somebody, I've asked you guys... lead off your show with hockey when football season's not going. But no, you guys stick to basketball and it's horrible.

Evaluating a league's 'product' quality is entirely subjective.
