Paul Tagliabue is the smartest person in the world for making Roger Goodell his concussion scapegoat

Paul Tagliabue basically said, I've known about concussions forever, but I kind of don't want to be asked about this anymore. So here, Roger Goodell, you look stupid enough to take this job and have everyone come at you and hate you. And that's exactly what happened. So he's actually the smartest person in the world.

While Tagliabue did face criticism for his handling of concussions, Roger Goodell became the public face of the league's struggle with the issue. The 'smartest person' claim is subjective but has a logical basis in the perception of Goodell's role.

UConn's women's basketball team wins so much because they sync up their periods and bond

I actually think that if this game were being played 300 years ago, they would be accused of being witches... Nobody has ever won 100 games until these women, but I think it's because men's teams don't have periods that they can sync up. Same wavelength. That's why women are able to become better teammates than men because the entire team gets on their [period]. They get to basically do trust falls six or seven times a season when they're all on their periods together. It's a bonding experience.

The biological claim that period syncing leads to 100-game winning streaks in basketball is scientifically unproven and intended as a joke.

LeBron James is a coward for not participating in the NBA Dunk Contest

LeBron James that's not in the dunk contest again. Kind of a coward move. Michael Jordan was in the dunk contest. Back in the day, you had your best athletes in it. Vince Carter. You had your Vinces, your J.R. Smiths. You had everybody.

LeBron James never participated in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest during his career, making PFT's claim about him avoiding it factually accurate and his opinion on the matter subjective but persistent.

Luke Walton was a better coach for the Golden State Warriors than Steve Kerr

I would actually say [the Warriors are] Luke Walton's team. People forget he was their coach in the first half last year. They were a lot better then.

While Walton did have a historic start as interim coach, Steve Kerr is widely recognized as the architect of the dynasty. This is a satirical take on coaching credit.

American sports dominance is officially over

Are we as a country washed? because this also is on the heels of shams announcing SGA back to back MVP and I think it's been like nine years, I believe eight years since an American has won the NBA MVP... and Aaron Rai, it's the second European to win a major this year and Europeans are now two and oh in majors for the first time since 1934.

While hyperbolically stated, the fact that international players have dominated NBA MVPs (Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, SGA) for nearly a decade is factual.

The Steelers will be stuck with a 7-10 win ceiling with Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is back. I feel bad for Steelers fans... he's not the same quarterback... the Steelers just put a finite floor and ceiling on their season. Right? And it's somewhere between seven and 10 wins. That's what we're thinking.

Outcome depends on the 2026 NFL season results for the Steelers.

The Chicago White Sox are no longer a joke and could win the AL Central

White Sox are good. They're actually like, this is finally like, it's kind of, they're not a joke. They've got some sluggers. Big time dude... I don't know what the price is for them winning the AL Central, but they, they, they are not a bad team.

White Sox performance in the 2026 MLB season is ongoing.
