Europeans don't even have colleges

No, they don't have colleges in [Europe]. They don't have NFL teams there. But they have NFL games there. They don't play college games. Okay, actually they're universities.

Europe obviously has many colleges and some of the oldest universities in the world.

Daniel Jones starting for the Colts is a decision made under duress by Shane Steichen

I believe this is a decision made under duress by Shane Steichen. He [is] very much on the Hot Seat. And he basically is in the worst place you wanna be as an organization where it's like, I'm gonna get fired. I gotta find a way to eke out like six or seven wins. Daniel Jones gives you a higher floor.

Anthony Richardson eventually started the season, rendering the take about Jones winning the job under duress incorrect as Jones remained a backup.

Daniel Jones will be serviceable for the Colts and can win eight games

Daniel Jones, when I say he is gonna be good, I, I would be shocked if he was like a, a pro bowl level quarterback, but I think he could be serviceable... I don't think he's going to be one of the better quarterbacks in the AFC, but I do think he could be good enough to win like eight games.

Daniel Jones does not play for the Colts; this is a satirical scenario within the episode's context.

The AFC North is officially the 'division of quarterbacks' now that Joe Flacco is back

AFC North quarterbacks: Flacco, [Aaron] Rodgers, Lamar [Jackson], [Joe] Burrow. It's the division of quarterbacks. Listen, two guys have, the two old guys have Super Bowls. The young guys haven't done it.

The AFC North is indeed stacked with high-profile QBs, though Rodgers is in the AFC East. This is a common mix-up in the moment.

Tom Brady helping Mike Macdonald prepare for the Patriots would be a huge slap in the face to the New England region.

That would be egregious if that was true. I don't believe it is true. But if it were, that would be unforgivable. Not unforgivable. That would be a, a blemish, a big blemish. Big time. It'd be a slap in the face of the whole region.

Subjective opinion on how a hypothetical rumor would be perceived.

Jayson Tatum is playing cute by claiming he found out about the Jaylen Brown trade on social media.

I'm sure he knew that he was on the trading block and he didn't know specifically when he got traded and he found out just like everyone else... all Brad Stevens, Jaylen Brown, they talked about how, you know, he was gonna be on the trading block and they were gonna try and move him. So I'm sure Jayson Tatum was also aware of that. But in terms of, he's probably playing a little, a little cutesy there where like no one specifically told him, 'Hey, this is the trade.' He found out like everyone else. But I'm sure he was not surprised and fully aware what the plan was.

Subjective interpretation of Tatum's PR framing.

The Celtics have another major move coming following the Jaylen Brown trade

There's something going on here. I I said it to Max on the boat yesterday. I was like, Jalen Brown was getting traded. I could, I could just feel it. I could feel it coming... I feel like the Paul George thing is, there's the, like, they might be doing another trade. There's another move coming.

The trade just happened in the fictional 2026 timeline provided; further moves are pending.
