Tom Brady will sign a one-day contract to retire as a New England Patriot

He is going to New England. He is signing a one-day Patriot contract. There is going to be a ceremony.

Brady did not sign a one-day contract with the Patriots; he eventually un-retired and then retired 'for good' as a Buccaneer without a New England ceremony.

Tom Brady's retirement is a '3D chess' move to eventually return to the Patriots

Tom Brady unretires, comes back, plays for the Patriots, and that's why he's not thanking the Patriots yet... This is 3D chess. He's using this to go back to the Patriots because the Buccaneers, he doesn't think, can take him to another Super Bowl. But the Patriots could.

Brady did un-retire, but he returned to the Buccaneers, not the Patriots.

No starting quarterback will ever touch Tom Brady's record of seven Super Bowl wins

Seven Super Bowls will not — I'm going to safely — I really do not think that will be touched by a starting quarterback.

Patrick Mahomes has three as of 2024, but seven remains a distant and likely untouchable milestone for anyone else.

I'm betting on Matt Ryan and the Falcons to win the NFC South next year

I think we, as a group, should do a group bet on one more year, Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons winning the South. Because that's a disaster of a division now.

The Falcons finished 7-10 and Matt Ryan was traded to the Colts; the Buccaneers won the division.

Paul Skenes is broken after the World Baseball Classic

Paul Skenes is broken... World Baseball Classic hot seat broke him.

Skenes has been elite in the MLB; this was a total overreaction or bit.

Houston will beat Illinois by 18 points in the Sweet 16

I think Houston and I think they do it decisively. 18. [Blowout?]. 18.

Pending outcome of the 2026 Sweet 16.

Tom Brady could still throw for 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns in the NFL right now

Tom Brady... It's football. They had the flag football event this past weekend. Tom Brady played in it. I mean, he could go out next year in the league and probably get 4,000 yards, 30 touchdowns.

Brady is 48 and retired; the likelihood of him returning and putting up elite stats is nearly zero.
