Jaylen Brown is entering 'James Harden territory' following his trade to the 76ers

On paper, yes. It looks like Boston lost, but Jalen Brown could be. We could be entering James Harden territory with this dude. You know, I, I just seem to think about Hank. I know like Hank don't be don't be totally bummed out... Jalen Brown. That was some crazy shit he was saying at the end of last season.

This is a character and career trajectory judgment that will be proven by Brown's tenure in Philly.

The Celtics have another major move coming following the Jaylen Brown trade

There's something going on here. I I said it to Max on the boat yesterday. I was like, Jalen Brown was getting traded. I could, I could just feel it. I could feel it coming... I feel like the Paul George thing is, there's the, like, they might be doing another trade. There's another move coming.

The trade just happened in the fictional 2026 timeline provided; further moves are pending.

You cannot trade a star like Jaylen Brown to an in-division rival

Regardless of what this ends up doing for the Celtics with the picks, if they make another trade, you cannot trade Jalen Brown to your in division rival. Like that cannot happen.

This is a subjective philosophy on team building and rivalry management.

The Celtics are statistically a better team without Jaylen Brown

Jalen Brown has the second worst plus minus of any five time All Star over the past 10 years... Also the Celtics win more games without Jalen Brown than when he is playing... Last year with, with Jalen Brown, they won 66% of their games without, they won 80%... Their entire career with Jalen Brown. They are 263 and 1 31. That's 67% without Brown. There're 60 and 26, 70%.

The stats provided are fictional/hypothetical within the 2026 setting, but presented as fact to support a 'Ewing Theory' style take.

Mike Tomlin has to be fired by the Steelers

Regardless of what happens next week, Tomlin's gotta go. I mean, he just gotta go. It's stale. He has a losing record in the playoffs. He refuses, he changes offensive coordinators all the time. Defense coordinators, the seasons all look the same... everything is always the same because it's Mike Tomlin.

The Steelers have shown zero inclination to fire Mike Tomlin, who signed an extension through 2027 in 2024.

The Steelers will beat the Texans in the playoffs

If they win on Sunday night, they will beat the Texans. That's a fact. I'm not worried about the Texans. I was worried about the Bills and the other teams and the Jaguars. But I think they could beat the Texans.

The Steelers lost to the Texans 6-30 in the Wild Card round.

The Steelers will win at least two playoff games this season

I'm thinking two playoff wins... Minimum two playoff wins right now. And listen, I mean, can you say [Aaron] Rogers has been pretty damn good this year? Yes... He's dialed in.

The Steelers lost in the Wild Card 6-30 to the Texans. Zero playoff wins, far from the predicted two.
