The Golden State Warriors would miss the playoffs if the season ended today (Oct 31, 2016)

If the season ended today, the Golden State Warriors would not be in the playoffs.

At the time of recording, the Warriors were not in a top-8 seed position due to the very early season standings.

The Golden State Warriors dynasty is on pause, not over

It's not demolition. Dynasty not over, just dynasty on pause... I think if you win another in the next three years, then it still counts. It blends together as the same.

The Warriors lost in the play-in tournament in 2024 and won only a first-round series in 2025. PFT's three-year window has effectively expired without another title.

This is the final year of the Golden State Warriors dynasty

This is the end of the Warriors. Like this is their last run. They either win the title this year and go off as three in a row, all that shit, or they lose and everyone goes their other way and hates each other.

The Warriors lost the 2019 Finals and Kevin Durant left for the Nets, ending that specific era, though the core won again in 2022.

The Golden State Warriors will eventually hit a low point once the Kevin Durant honeymoon phase ends

They're going to hit their low point. Just wait. Kevin Durant's lurking. Baby back bitch.

Correct. After Durant left and injuries hit in 2019, the Warriors had the worst record in the NBA (15-50) in the 2019-20 season.

The Denver Nuggets feel exactly like the 2015 Golden State Warriors before they started winning titles

The Nuggets to me feel like... the Warriors in 2015. Where the feeling I have watching them feels very similar to when the Warriors were first, before they ripped off all their titles... People thought they were a great regular season team, but too soft, too jump-shooting. I feel very similar things watching this Nuggets team.

The Nuggets went on to win the 2023 NBA Finals shortly after this, validating the comparison in the short term.

The Golden State Warriors do not truly start their postseason until Draymond Green gets suspended.

I think it's just like the Warriors don't start the playoffs until Draymond gets suspended. And then they just, and then they're ready to kick it into gear.

While the Warriors did win three straight after the Draymond suspension in this series, it isn't a literal rule of basketball.

The Golden State Warriors will stumble in December before turning it on after the All-Star break

I'm on the record. I think they're going to stumble out of the gate. They're going to have a hard December. And then they're going to turn it on after the All-Star break.

The Warriors went 12-4 in December, their second-highest loss total for a month that season, but still elite. They did 'turn it on' and win the title.

The scented candle incident could be what brings down the Golden State Warriors

A scented candle, $15. I bet they wish that this story never got out. [Kevin Durant] was involved in these hijinks from the start... So he's breaking the team up. That little jokester. Maybe this is what brings down the Warriors. Candlegate.

The Warriors did lose the Finals that year and KD left, but it was due to injuries and long-standing tensions, not a $15 candle prank.

The Golden State Warriors are unlikable because of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Steve Kerr

I don't like Steph. He's a baby back bitch. Yeah, yeah. Klay Thompson's got a fucked up goatee. Steve Kerr's milking it. [With] spinal fluid. Yeah.

Subjective opinion on the likability of the team.

The Golden State Warriors are better than the Houston Rockets and will win the series

I still think Golden State is better. I'm not buying into any of the stuff that happened at the end of the season and how they finished. They didn't care. But I'd imagine that they would burn them, you know, the first couple games.

The Warriors defeated the Rockets in 7 games to advance to the Finals.

The 2016 World Series eliminated the ability for anyone to make '3-1 lead' jokes at the Golden State Warriors' expense

The true winner was Steph Curry, because any Cleveland person who tries to make fun of the Warriors can get that [the Indians blowing a 3-1 lead] thrown back in their face... it just basically eliminated the joke solely at the Warriors' expense.

While it provided a counter-punch, '3-1' jokes persisted for years against both the Warriors and the Indians/Guardians.

This is the end of the Golden State Warriors dynasty

The Warriors are on the hot seat because the Warriors are breaking up... Steve Kerr is sick of Draymond's shit. Now, I don't know if that was actually what he was talking about, but it's clear the Warriors have... I feel like this is it. This is it. This is the end. Don't you?

The Warriors lost the 2019 Finals and Kevin Durant left, ending that specific era, but the 'dynasty' arguably continued as they won the championship in 2022.

The Golden State Warriors' dynasty is officially over

This mother fucking league cat Warriors are dead Warriors. Karma is empty. They empty the tank on the karma. Steph Curry is trash.

The Warriors finished 15-50 in the 2019-20 season, the worst record in the NBA, though they would later win a title in 2022.

Kevin Durant is getting one more ring and then leaving the Golden State Warriors

Kevin Durant, baby back bitch, tweeted... 'one down, 81 more, what a night.' His brother, Tony, Tony Durant, replied... 'fill in the hand up before we get out of here.' Hmm. So it looks like he's going to L.A. So he's getting another ring, and then he's getting the fuck out.

Correct. Durant left the Warriors for the Nets following the 2019 season (though the prediction specifically mentioned LA, the core 'getting out' part was right).

Nikola Jokic is one of the greatest big men of all time and plays like he's in a pool

Jokic plays basketball like he's in the pool with his kids. Like he's waiting above the water and he is like just putting it above him. Just the way he puts it back in his shot. ... He plays pool basketball... he's one of the best big men of all time. ... The Jokic family, all they wanna do is go race horses. And he just happens to be one of the greatest NBA players.

Jokic's historical standing is subjective, but he is widely regarded as an all-time great.

Skip Bayless will be the first person to publicly hate on Zion Williamson

I think it's going to be Skip that starts the train with it. He's going to test the waters early in the season and be like, I think Zion's going to have trouble staying under 300 pounds.

Skip Bayless was indeed one of the first and most vocal mainstream critics of Zion Williamson, specifically targeting his weight and health.

Big Baller Brand is officially coming to an end

Big Baller Brand is in hot water. It might be the end of Big Baller Brand... Lonzo Ball's manager apparently stole like a million and a half dollars from him. So he got fired... yeah, they're just, it's probably, probably the end of Big Baller Brand.

The brand effectively collapsed as a major entity shortly after this, with Lonzo covering his BBB tattoo and the family eventually acknowledging the business was in shambles.
