Jayden Daniels will defy the sophomore slump and have a fantastic 2025 season

I do have a lot of fun watching Jayden Daniels play football and I think that he's gonna defy the sophomore slump and have a fantastic season.

Zac predicted Jayden Daniels would defy the sophomore slump and have a fantastic 2025 season. Daniels was plagued by injuries (knee sprain, hamstring, dislocated elbow) and only started 7 games, throwing for 1,262 yards. The Commanders went 5-12. He definitively did not defy the sophomore slump.

The Barstool Sports partnership with Fox Sports will not change the content of Pardon My Take

I'll say right now, [the Fox deal] is not gonna change this show at all. We made sure of that. We, we it's gonna be a great, like, this is very different than the ESPN partnership back in 2017. Fox is a very willing partner. They're very excited. We're very excited. They believe in us. We believe in them a lot different than what we went through with ESPN.

The show largely remained independent under the Fox partnership following the announcement.

The new FS1 show featuring Barstool Chicago will not cannibalize Pardon My Take

It's gonna be a mix of everybody in this office and people that might not be in this office right now that might stop in. I don't expect to be spending a full-time jobs worth of time going on the show, but I'll go to try to make it on like once a week is what we discussed. That way it's not gonna cannibalize Pardon My Take.

The TV show was indeed a separate project and the podcast schedule/format was preserved.

Hockey is on the rise and the Four Nations tournament will be a high-stakes precursor to the Olympics

Hockey's on the rise man. On the rise. Hockey's on a heater as we always say on the podcast, the last two years. And on top of that, boys we're heading into an Olympic year. With all that Four Nations... precursor to the Olympics coming up. It ain't the Olympics. We all know that. But don't act like they weren't playing for something. They were playing for pride.

This is an inherently subjective opinion about the state of the sport and the prestige of a specific tournament.

Nate Diaz is a sobering reminder that most men are 'bitch made'

Nate Diaz is a healthy reminder. It was like there's levels to being a man... He's an absolute savage... It's the most sobering reminder of like, yeah, I might be bitch made. 'Cause Nate Diaz is walking, his face was a faucet of blood.

Subjective appreciation of Nate Diaz's toughness.

Going to a nightclub solo and dancing for two hours is a freeing experience

I went to the bar, had a couple of beers and then went to the dance club. I don't dance very well, but it's fun to bust a move once in a while... It was incredibly uncomfortable, but it was like, it felt good to just, you know, get out there a little bit. I was just dancing... not too bad.

Subjective life experience.

Ronda Rousey might win her return fight in the octagon against Gina Carano

Ronda Rousey... she's returned to the octagon after like 3,400 days, she's got a chance to maybe right the ship and get a win. I thought it could be exciting.

This fight was never officially booked or completed in the professional MMA landscape.
