Tyler Reddick is the first driver in NASCAR history to start a season 3-0.

Tyler Reddick... he did win today. But he's won of the previous two won races as well. So he is the first driver in history to start the season three and oh. He goes three and oh after going winless last year. First guy to do the first three races of the year.

As this is a fact claim about a fictional future (2026), it is correct within the internal logic of the episode.

Sovereignty is a much better workhorse at Churchill Downs than he has been in the past

One of those kind of horses... is Sovereignty trained by Bill Mott, stretch runner Godolphin second in the Florida Derby. He is always been just a very average workhorse, and he's looked a lot better in the morning here at Churchill Downs than he has in the past.

Sovereignty, trained by Bill Mott for Godolphin, won the 2025 Kentucky Derby at 8.98-1 odds, validating Randy Moss's observation that the horse 'looked a lot better in the morning at Churchill Downs.' The improved workouts translated to a Derby victory.

Red Bull is my family and where I truly belong in F1

Now going back like full circle to Red Bull... it's like, oh, like, yeah, this is, this is the family. Like this is where, you know, I, I'm happy to come home to and where I feel like I truly belong.

This is a personal feeling about his career path.

Faiza is the standout favorite for the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes

I think Faiza is a standout in the Black-Eyed Susan... Peterson said no, I'm staying loyal to [Baffert]... she's undefeated.

Faiza finished 3rd in the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes; Taxed won the race.

I was the last person to talk to Dale Earnhardt before his fatal crash at the 2001 Daytona 500

Dale Earnhardt came up to me and he goes, 'I just have to say, you've brought me and my daughter so much closer, your show.' ... Other than his crew chief essentially, I was the last person to talk to him.

While impossible to verify every single interaction Earnhardt had on the grid, Muniz's role as Grand Marshall and the timing of the interaction are well-documented.

The Preakness is historically a better race for fillies than the other Triple Crown races

I do think that the Preakness is usually a better race for fillies. We haven't had a Kentucky Derby, a Philly that's won the Kentucky Derby since winning colors in 1988... But we saw Rachel Alexandra, for example, beat the boys in the Preakness. I think that was 2009, very impressively.

Statistically, fillies have won the Preakness (6) more often than the Derby (3) or Belmont (3).

Rich Strike will not win the Preakness

Rich Strike is a dog. Hold on. Horse racing needs a bad boy... but he's not going to win the Preakness. So it will be, it will go away quickly.

Rich Strike did not win the Preakness because the owner chose to skip the race entirely to rest for the Belmont Stakes.

The Kentucky Derby is the best litmus test of greatness of any race in America.

The Derby is probably the best litmus test of greatness of any race in America. So the 20 horses is part of that... what it takes win the Kentucky Derby: the patience, the acceleration, the ability to hit the holes when you need to hit the holes, the overall talent to beat the best horses [of] a generation.

This is a subjective assessment of the race's prestige and difficulty.

Epicenter is my pick to win the Kentucky Derby

Epicenter is the perfect horse to take advantage of an inside post position because he has tactical speed... I think it's a great post position for Epicenter, probably why that's why I'm picking him.

Epicenter finished second in the 2022 Kentucky Derby, losing to long-shot Rich Strike.

Nest is an absolute standout to win the Kentucky Oaks.

I love Nest. Nest is the program favorite, which surprised me... she was the two-year-old filly champion. I think Nest is an absolute standout to win the Kentucky Oaks.

Nest finished 2nd in the Kentucky Oaks, losing to Secret Oath.

Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s nickname 'The Intimidator' is an all-time great moniker because of the fear it struck in opponents

I'm going to go a little NASCAR. Maybe the greatest nickname. I know. Time... The intimidator, Dale Earnhardt Sr. I mean, what are you going to do when the intimidator comes for you?

Nickname quality is a matter of personal opinion.

Max Verstappen is going to be world champion. That's what everyone says. I believe it as well.

Formula One needs a star American driver for the sport to truly take off in the US

That's what the U.S. need. We've got to get a decent American driver running in Formula One. And as soon as that happens, I think the US will just take off even more.

The sport did take off significantly due to 'Drive to Survive', even without a major American driver on the podium, but Horner's point about a US star remains a central goal of Liberty Media.

The new financial cap is ultimately healthy for the long-term future of Formula One

I think it's ultimately a positive thing... I think ultimately it's a good one. It's going to take a couple of years to settle down, but I think it's healthy for the whole sport.

The budget cap has generally been viewed as successful in ensuring the long-term financial stability of the sport.

Formula One drivers are weighed more than almost anyone because car performance depends on maintaining a precise combined weight of the driver and vehicle

They get weighed after breakfast. They get weighed before they get in the car. They get weighed after they get out of the car because... we have to have them at a consistent weight... it's a combined weight between the driver and the car.

This is standard procedure in F1 to ensure compliance with minimum weight regulations and to optimize ballast placement.

Bet on a Sacred Life and Some Like It Hot Brown exacta in the Dinner Party Stakes

Chad Brown has a horse in there named Sacred Life that looks like an absolute standout... I think if you hook him up in an exacta with the number one horse, Some Like It Hot Brown... I like the 5-1 Exacta, Sacred Life and Some Like It Hot Brown in the race before the Preakness.

Sacred Life finished 4th and Some Like It Hot Brown finished 2nd. The exacta did not hit.

Essential Quality is a machine but hasn't run a fast race yet

He's just a machine so far... The one knock on him... [is] he's yet to run what most people would consider to be a fast race by Kentucky Derby favorite standards.

Essential Quality finished 4th in the Derby (promoted to 3rd) but went on to win the Belmont Stakes and Travers Stakes, proving he was elite.

Ryan Newman surviving his Daytona crash is a testament to NASCAR's safety improvements

The fact that he was able to survive that wreck with serious injuries, but the fact that he's still alive is just incredible and it's honestly like a testament to what NASCAR has done since Dale Earnhardt passed away at the Daytona 500 20 years ago.

Newman walked out of the hospital days later, which experts widely attributed to the safety advancements mandated by NASCAR.

USA Rugby Sevens will be in striking distance of first place going into the Paris tournament

The point is that this is the penultimate. So it's the second to last tournament. If we're in striking range going into Paris. We already are. We're in first. Which is the last leg. I might pull a Hong Kong and just fly over to Paris. ... I'm going to say it right now. We'll be in fucking striking distance because I have faith in our boys.

USA finished second in the overall standings in 2019, maintaining 'striking distance' throughout the final legs.

American Pharoah was more talented than Nyquist

American Pharoah was a brilliant kind of horse... American Pharoah [was] like a wild horse. Nyquist is sort of like the consummate professional... I think at this point, I would take American Pharoah. I think he has more overall talent than Nyquist.

American Pharoah is a Triple Crown winner and widely considered a generational great; Nyquist did not win another Triple Crown race after the Derby.
