The NBA In-Season Tournament should have one traveling banner instead of permanent ones

There should just be one banner. And the team that wins it should get to have it in their arena for the remainder of that year into next year where they have to give it up and another team then gets to possess that banner because you can't have every NBA team eventually having an in season tournament banners.

Nick Mullens is the ultimate backup gunslinger because you always want to watch him

Nick Mullens... he's the ultimate like backup gunslinger. Right. Yeah. I don't think a team will ever commit to Nick Mullens as being like the guy ever. But he's fun. At least you'll say this about Nick when he plays, you wanna watch the game because he's gonna do some crazy shit.

Mullens' subsequent performances in 2023 continued to feature high yardage and high turnovers, confirming his status as a high-variance backup.

I am officially adjusting Justin Fields' stats to remove drops and Hail Mary interceptions

I would like to say and get ahead of this before the end of the season when the Justin Fields debate happens... In my personal book for Justin Fields, at the end of the season, I will be adjusting his stats to include one more touchdown and two fewer interceptions.

While PFT can adjust his personal book, the official NFL stats and the Bears' decision to move on from Fields remain unchanged.

I stand by the fact... the whole reason that I have believed in the Dolphins in the last couple weeks is 'cause of Vic Fangio today. Their defense was awesome. Shut out. Hard to shut out a team in the NFL. It is, it is... That's why I believe in the Dolphins is Vic Fangio.

The enemy not being there, it matters. I'm not saying that Andy Reed and these guys aren't great coaches, but Bieniemy had some nastiness about him, right? He had some significant conversations with their players, whether that's Mahomes or other people. And with him not being there, it does get into a place where maybe some things have been allowed or tolerated to a different degree... I do think the enemy not being there hurts because those players in the room are ultimately the guys who have to execute it.

Roger Goodell will eventually implement two Monday Night Football games every single week

I'm calling it in the future, it might not be next year, might not be the year after Goodell's gonna want to try to get two Monday night football games. And the fact that these two games [Giants/Packers and Titans/Dolphins] were so good, it's gonna make him think like this was the best idea of all time.

The NFL has continued to experiment with Monday night doubleheaders (staggered or simultaneous) in 2024 and 2025, though they haven't moved to every single week yet.
