And I started talking about how heroic it was [playing the Masters injured], and people took great umbrage with that comment... You agree. [Koepka]: I couldn't have agreed anymore. Absolutely. I mean, it might have been one of the most heroic things ever done.

This is a satirical take on his own performance; playing golf through an injury is not literally one of the most heroic acts in history.

The Wizards are a regular season team not built for the play-ins

The Wizards are not built for the play-ins, the regular season team. But we do get another game of play-in basketball in Washington.

The Wizards did win their second play-in game against the Pacers to make the 8-seed, though they were eliminated in the first round 4-1 by the 76ers.

You cannot win in the NBA when Robin Lopez is your go-to guy

I also think anytime Robin Lopez is like your go-to guy... You're probably not going to win that game. Doing some post moves on everyone's ass.

While Lopez had a productive veteran career, teams relying on him for 30+ minutes or as a primary option generally didn't reach championship levels.

I am likely the only professional golfer who doesn't use a yardage book

I think I'm probably the only, to my knowledge, the only tour player that doesn't. I just found myself, I would look at, I'd look up from like 150 yards and look down in the book and I'm like, this pin looks like it's in the bunker... and it just like gave me all these thoughts. Who cares? Just make it more reactive.

Brooks is confirming his own practice, which is a verified fact of his game.

I'm not dead. I've never wanted to win a golf tournament so bad. [The deal is] if I win the Open Championship this weekend, I officially get [Blake Griffin's] Blake of the Year title this year. Verbatim. That's what it'll be.

Brooks Koepka did not win the 2025 Open Championship at Royal Portrush. He missed the cut after Round 2. Scottie Scheffler won the tournament at -17, four shots clear of the field.

Playing golf in shorts is at least a two-stroke advantage per round

It's so much nicer [to wear shorts]... I'd say at least two [strokes]. Really. Yeah.

While logically comfort improves performance, there is no scientific data to quantify that wearing shorts specifically saves exactly two strokes.
