The Bears-Cowboys matchup is a 'Gateway Game' that will define the rest of Chicago's season

This is a gateway game. If the Bears win this game... don't be shocked if the Bears are five and four or six and three... but if they don't win this game, none of this matters. They're own three and they just suck.

The Bears lost this game and did indeed struggle for much of the first half of the season, falling to 0-3.

The Bears-Cowboys matchup is a 'Gateway Game' specifically for how people view Caleb Williams as a quarterback

I think it might be a gateway game for your feelings about Caleb Williams as a quarterback... Because if they go 0-3, it's gonna be just full, like Caleb's gotta look good.

Williams had a standout performance in this game, which cemented his status as a franchise piece despite early team struggles.

The Chiefs aren't capable of blowing teams out right now because Patrick Mahomes lacks explosive weapons

I kind of like the Giants in this game. No, I don't think, I think the Chiefs are gonna win six points. I don't think the Chiefs can blow anyone out right now. Mahomes, you don't have enough guys.

The Chiefs famously played 11 straight one-score games during the 2025 season, making this take extremely accurate.

A Bengal tiger would kill a Jaguar in a fight every single time

I just looked at AI and a Bengal would kill a Jaguar like a hundred out of a hundred times. A Jaguar does have one of like the the fiercest bites in the animal kingdom. The problem is the Bengal outweighs the Jaguar by like 200 pounds.

Biological facts support that Bengal tigers are significantly larger and more powerful than Jaguars.

Jaxson Dart will get his first start for the Giants against the Chargers

My prediction was that Dart gets in against the Chargers. That would be his first start I think. I don't know if it's gonna be a clean benching for Russell Wilson. I think they might do the Dart packages and they might like slowly incorporate Dart into the games.

Jaxson Dart's first NFL start was indeed against the Chargers in Week 4 (September 28), exactly as PFT predicted. The Giants won that game.

Mike Vrabel will dominate Mike McDaniel because McDaniel is a dork

The minute a fat guy walks in and says, that's a dork. It sticks in my head. And now in my head it's Mike Vrabel versus Dork. I'm gonna take Mike Vrabel. It just feels like Mike Vrabel versus dork is a mismatch.

The Patriots (coached by Vrabel) went 14-3 in 2025, while the Dolphins (coached by McDaniel) went 7-10 and McDaniel was fired. Vrabel dominated their matchups.

The Giants will be a 'Muck It Up' team that stays in games but doesn't win many

I have the Giants circled as my Muck It Up team that's not gonna win a lot of games, but will be in a lot of games... I think the Giants will keep a lot of games. I think the Giants are the team that you'll look up in the second half of most games and be like, why is that? It's 13-10.

The Giants went 4-13, winning very few games. While they may have been competitive in some losses, they were not a typical 'muck it up' team - they were just bad. The 'not gonna win a lot of games' part was very accurate.

I'm gonna go with the New England Patriots... to make the playoffs plus one 20. I believe it even more so.

Kyle Shanahan needs a Super Bowl so badly. It's, it's desperate. It's aged him. Have you seen the before and after? Yeah. It's like he's a president.

PFT Commenter bet the over on 3.5 field goals in Super Bowl 59. Jake Elliott kicked 4 field goals for the Eagles (48, 29, 48, and 50 yards), and the Chiefs kicked 0. The total of 4 field goals hits the over on 3.5.

The 2018 NFL Draft was one of the most insane classes ever for quarterbacks

2018 draft was insane. It's the year for everyone in the 2018. Baker Mayfield went one, Saquon Barkley two, Sam Darnold three. So 1, 2, 3 pretty much had career years. Eight out of the ten first picks in the 2018 draft have been to at least one Pro Bowl. Pretty good.
