Brooks Koepka on Ryder Cup Nerves and Chasing 12 Majors

After watching them dismantle the Giants on Thursday night, Big Cat and PFT are ready to crown them as the clear powerhouse of the NFC. Brock Purdy continues to move the chains, and while Big Cat points out that throwing to guys who are wide open makes life easy, PFT is starting to believe the seventh-round pick is the real deal.

Between defensive coordinators resigning via home-printed memos and Justin Fields trying to navigate coaching comments, the Bears are in a historic tailspin. Despite the chaos, Big Cat is somehow finding a way to talk himself back into his quarterback before they head to Arrowhead.

On the other side of that matchup, the internet's favorite obsession with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift was addressed. PFT isn't buying the romance for a second, smelling a classic Kelce brothers media play from a mile away.

I think that Travis Kelce is not actually dating Taylor Swift. I think that this is, listen, we've been in the podcast game for a long time. We know it does numbers. Jason Kelce's a very smart guy. I think him going on the air and saying the rumors are a hundred percent true... You don't say a hundred percent if your brother's dating Taylor Swift.
Further east, PFT is reaching dangerous levels of optimism regarding the Commanders. He’s convinced that a win over the Bills doesn't just mean a good start, it means they are legitimate contenders.

Fresh off a round of golf with the guys, Brooks Koepka joined the show to talk about the upcoming Ryder Cup and his career trajectory. For a guy who seems to have ice in his veins during Majors, Brooks admitted that the atmosphere on the first tee at the Ryder Cup is the most nervous he's ever been in his life.

He also didn't hold back on his long-term objectives. While most golfers would be thrilled with five Majors, Brooks has a much higher number in mind and feels like he's already let a few slip through his fingers.

To wrap things up, Hank’s Fyre Fest involved a battle with a frozen Trader Joe's meal that ended with a burnt finger and a deep realization that he might not be as much of an adult as he thought. PFT shared a story about an Uber driver who decided to drop him off at a random location just to hit his next pickup, proving once again that the commute to the office is never simple.
At least the weekend is here, even if the Bears are probably going to lose by thirty.
