What we've seen the last eight games out of Aaron Rodgers makes me wonder, why in the hell haven't we seen that the last six years? Why are they continuously wanting out in the playoffs? What I've been told is Peyton Manning and Jon Gruden have a very, very good relationship. They're very close... but it was a package deal of Peyton Manning and Jon Gruden. Gruden didn't want to do it.

I think he is. Well, if any kicker or punter is worthy of getting in, Devin Hester is worthy of getting in, and I think he eventually will. Now, that doesn't mean he gets in on the first try, but I think eventually he's going to get in. You've got to find a spot for a guy who was transcendent in what he did in the return game.

He's got a very tradable contract, $12.5 million. I think the Bears will try to trade him. Depends on how this coaching deal shakes out. If Kyle Shanahan ends up the head coach somewhere, I could see him being potentially interested in Cutler.

I don't think he will. How about at the college level? Wouldn't he be a very good college coach? I mean, could you see him recruit the hell out of guys? I think he's going to end up in TV, though. I'm not sure he's going to be as good as they think he's going to be, but I think he's going to end up in TV.

Guy's very connected at the league level. He's got good friends in the league office. He's a made man. He knows how to work the media. I think at some point he'll find a way where he at least gets an interview. And if he gets an interview with one of these guys... he could bamboozle someone into hiring him.

NFL ratings are down primarily because the prime time games have been poor

One reality is the games haven't been very good... You're going to have some crappy primetime games. But even Jaguars-Titans... the problem is, more often than not, the primetime games have been crap.

I wouldn't have a problem with them ripping up the current overtime system and just going with the college approach. That works. The games are exciting. And I don't think anyone's ever complained that the college system is not a good system.

There's a chance it will if the NFL makes enough concessions to the union... if there's a way that they can address that issue [player health]... it's going to happen.

Sam Bradford, the thinking is, I believe better simulates what Teddy would have done if he would have been able to play. I don't know that Bradford can get there... it's going to be an uphill climb, but when things settle down, they're going to be better off with Bradford than they would be with Hill.

Number three on the depth chart is the first overall pick. That's not good for anybody. And I would say jokingly, back when the Rams picked [Jared] Goff, remember, these are the same people who thought Nick Foles was the answer a year ago. And what was once a joke, I think, is gradually becoming dead serious that maybe they've gotten it wrong two years in a row.

I think anybody who plays at the Coliseum, that's where the fights are going to be. And so that's one fan base right there... The more people you have, the greater the chance you're going to have a bunch of fights. And I don't know what it is about 49ers fans. They like to scrap. It's going to get ugly when they play in LA.

I got Packers over Panthers in the NFC... Ravens over Patriots in AFC. It is the return of the Ravens in 2016. I got Ravens Packers in the Super Bowl with the Packers winning.

How about the Saints? ... Their defense can't be any worse than it's been. And, you know, Dennis Allen is now in charge of it. They got rid of Rob Ryan... I think the Saints would be a team that could surprise some people this year.

I know they're saying all the right things now and they can't declare to the world that he's not going to be the starter because what if the guy that they draft ultimately stinks. I developed a semi hot take that [Teddy Bridgewater] would be better off if Adrian Peterson wasn't on the team. I just think that when you have a running back that is one of the all time greats... I think you get to the point just psychologically where the other 10 guys are counting on Adrian Peterson, and they're not counting on the quarterback the way that other offenses count on their quarterback.
