Silver medals are worse than bronze medals

I lost the gold... You either win the gold, lose the gold or win the bronze. ... I think silver's worse than bronze. ... you gotta win to get the bronze right. You're elated, right? Like you got a medal. And I was devastated that I lost the gold.

Subjective but based on psychological studies of athlete happiness.

Novak Djokovic is the greatest tennis player of all time

Novak is [the GOAT]. Yes. ... Novak is just because it's like, Roger won, Roger won one French... Novak has won a few French and like, I mean he's won I think 12 Australian opens. I mean, just incredible. And I played the three of them a bunch and I never beat Novak.

Subjective debate, though Djokovic leads in major titles.

Djokovic is the undisputed GOAT of tennis after winning Olympic gold

Djokovic is the goat. One gold big deal. On Clay beating Nadal. Beat, beat the whole country of Spain.

Whether he is the GOAT is subjective, but his 24 Grand Slams and Olympic gold make this the consensus statistical view.

The French Open court conditions were to blame for Novak Djokovic's meniscus injury

He blamed the court surface because of the rain. He asked them to wipe it multiple times and they did not approve... could this injury have been prevented? Possibly if there was just a little bit more frequent care of the court.

Djokovic himself cited the surface as the cause for his tear, though medical proof that wiping the court would have prevented it is impossible.

Novak Djokovic is the GOAT and Federer is a boy toy

The Joker 24 and counting. Joker's the best. He's the goat. I root for winners. I am a winner. I root for winners. Joker the man. Your little fucking boy toy. Roger Federer. Joker's Got you. Bitch.

Djokovic holds the record for most Grand Slam titles (24) and weeks at #1. While 'GOAT' is subjective, the statistical argument is definitively in Djokovic's favor.

Carlos Alcaraz's future grand slams will be 'Mickey Mouse majors' compared to Djokovic's era

[Djokovic] had to go against Roger [Federer] and Rafa [Nadal] and won all those. So Alcaraz is going to win Mickey Mouse majors. That's fine.

This is a subjective opinion about the strength of competition in different tennis eras.

Novak Djokovic is the undisputed greatest tennis player of all time

Djokovic won the French Open. He has 23 Grand Slams. He's the greatest tennis player of all time... He is the greatest. And I can't wait to win more... feels good to be vindicated that I was right all along.

By the numbers (Grand Slams, weeks at #1), Djokovic is statistically the GOAT, though Federer remains a fan favorite.

Novak Djokovic is officially the greatest tennis player of all time

He won his 10th Australian Open. He is now tied with Rafa at all 22 men's singles Grand Slam. ... That's the goat. That's the goat.

Djokovic eventually surpassed Nadal and Federer in total Grand Slams and weeks at #1, strengthening the case.

Serena Williams will play in a tennis tournament again despite her 'retirement'

She will play again... I should try to get a bet on the Barstool Sportsbook. Will Serena ever play in a tournament again? Cuz I feel like you win a lot of money.

As of late 2024, Serena Williams has not officially played in another professional tournament, though she has teased it frequently.

Serena Williams is definitely not retired

I'd just like to call my shot real quick. She's not, she's not retired. Yeah, definitely not retired. She is not retired.

Despite some teasing, Serena has remained retired from professional tennis since the 2022 US Open.

Novak Djokovic is the one true tennis GOAT

Novak Djokovic the goat. Oh, oh, oh... officially passes Roger Federer in championships, major championships, one away from [Nadal] who just wins Mickey Mouse clay ones every single time... I think it's, it's firmly established. He is the goat.

While subjective, Djokovic later took the lead in total Grand Slam titles, strengthening the statistical case for this take.

Novak Djokovic is the best tennis player of all time

I personally have a soft spot for Roger. I think he's great. But I do think Djokovic is actually the best.

Djokovic eventually surpassed the others in Grand Slam titles, strengthening this 'best' argument.

Novak Djokovic is the undisputed GOAT and will complete the Calendar Grand Slam

Djokovich, it's over. He won his 20th grand slam title, Wimbledon. It's over, he's tied Federer and a doll [Nadal]. He's slightly younger than those guys. He's going to win. He's going to win at the us open. That's the calendar year grand slam.

Djokovic lost in the 2021 US Open final to Daniil Medvedev, failing to complete the Calendar Grand Slam.

If Novak Djokovic ties Federer and Nadal in Grand Slams, he is the GOAT

Once he equalizes with Federer and Nadal, I think at that point it's like, yeah, Djokovic is GOAT. And head-to-head he's dominated both of them, right?

Djokovic eventually surpassed both (reaching 24 titles) and is now widely considered the GOAT by statistical standards.

Novak Djokovic is a scumbag for his selfish COVID restriction requests

Australian Open, Australia has COVID under control... Djokovic sent in basically his own list of requests and suggestions on how they can actually do a better job with COVID... His suggestions were to basically lessen the restrictions, make it easier. Basically, he was selfish.

Djokovic's requests were widely panned by the Australian public and government officials at the time.

Rafael Nadal is the undisputed GOAT of tennis after his 13th French Open title

Rafa Nadal won the French Open today... 13 Roland Garros titles... Number 13 number 20 overall. I think searching Rafa ended the debate today. You know, he just unquestionable GOAT talk to me in five years.

Nadal eventually won 22, but Novak Djokovic has since surpassed both with 24 Grand Slams, making this take factually dated.

Novak Djokovic is the GOAT of tennis

He [Djokovic] also probably wanted to let Nadal and Federer and Wawrinka can play each other. One of you idiots can win while the GOAT rests up his shoulder.

I would beat Mike Greenberg in tennis if my life was on the line

If my life was depending on it, I would practice enough and do enough to beat him because I knew my life was on it. [Greeny] can't even play his one little nerd sport better than [me]. He's probably better than me at all, but in that given situation, not only would I try and beat him, the best way to do it would be try and somehow hurt him during the match so he couldn't finish.

This is a purely hypothetical and subjective scenario between the two radio partners.
