LSU's new live tiger mascot will lead the team to a top-tier offensive season

I think this tiger is going to be the good luck charm for LSU. I think they're finally going to realize how to run an offense down there, and it's only going to be because of their new mascot.

LSU's offense was still mediocre in 2017 (ranked 76th in scoring offense), though they did improve significantly years later under Joe Burrow.

The Cleveland Browns are a great betting value early in the 2017 season

The Cleveland Browns [is my favorite NFL bet]. No, you know why? They're going to get a lot of points. They're an awful team. I'm going to get double-digit points. No one's going to be betting on them. So I'm going to take them.

The 2017 Browns went 0-16 straight up and 4-12 against the spread, making them one of the worst teams to bet on in NFL history.

Floyd Mayweather will beat Conor McGregor by decision

Conor McGregor has a legitimate puncher's chance in the first two rounds

I told Floyd these first two rounds are dangerous because [McGregor] is a grappler and he's used to close in fighting. And if he throws those bombs ... it's hard enough to knock anybody out. After that, once Floyd figures out the routine, then it should be a pretty simple fight.

This was the general consensus of how the fight went: McGregor won early rounds before Mayweather dominated the second half.

Floyd Mayweather doesn't have one-shot knockout power, but will win via cumulative damage

Power, I don't think so. You know, but I think through damage. Creating damage, I think is a big factor.

Mayweather won via TKO (Technical Knockout) in the 10th round, which was a result of McGregor being exhausted and taking repeated damage rather than a single 'lights out' punch.

June Jones should be wearing the lei. ... Bet some overs on Hamilton right now.

The Tiger-Cats went 6-4 under June Jones in the final 10 games of 2017, and the offense significantly improved, making 'over' bets on their performance generally successful.

It does make a lot of drama, and I still do think LeBron is leaving. Although now it's sourced material from our friend Ryan Russell says LeBron doesn't know what to do because he hasn't decided if he hates Isaiah Thomas yet or not.

LeBron James did indeed leave the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Los Angeles Lakers in the summer of 2018.

Conor McGregor will lose to Floyd Mayweather by doing something illegal during the fight

I'm gonna put money on McGregor because... he's in the mood for pikey justice. And he's gonna do something... McGregor's going to take him out illegally and then lose the fight. But then he's gonna have all his money spread out and bet on Mayweather to win.

McGregor lost by 10th-round TKO in a completely legal boxing match with no disqualification or major fouls.
