Winning a meaningless Week 18 game against the Eagles is actually useful for the Commanders' culture

Since Dan [Quinn] is coming back next year... I feel like there is some real use in winning your Week 18 game against a division rival. Especially one where a couple weeks ago [we] got into a fight to close the game. I feel like correcting some of those things, it's a useful win.

The long-term utility of a Week 18 win for a non-playoff team is a subjective matter of team psychology.

Tom Brady will be a 'meddling' NFL owner who makes common mistakes before finding success

I think it's gonna be Tom Brady... any guy that comes from a successful background... they all go through the same process... we try to get a bunch of players that used to be good and coaches that used to be good, build a fantasy team, and then we think it's gonna work out and it doesn't. And then you realize the mistakes. And then you start to meddle again. And then you realize, okay, now I've really learned my lesson... that's when you get good at football.

Jayden Daniels had a good year despite his injury struggles

Jayden Daniels didn't play a bad year. He had a bad year in terms of injuries. He played in four complete games this season. Four full games, seven touchdowns, one pick, one fumble loss. He had a two and two record. 63% completion... He was not bad for the people that were saying that he was bad this year.

Trevor Lawrence should be in the MVP conversation if the Jaguars secure the number one seed

Trevor Lawrence right now is maybe in the MVP conversation if they get to one seed. He's playing that good. He's playing as good as any quarterback in the NFL right now.

PFT said Trevor Lawrence should be in the MVP conversation if the Jags get the 1 seed. Lawrence was indeed named an MVP finalist after leading the Jaguars to 13-4 and the AFC South title.
