I'm 'Falcons heavy' and taking the points (+6.5) against the Colts in Berlin

Gotta take the Falcons. Gotta take the Falcons. I'm Falcons heavy. Yeah. It's my play of the week actually. [The line is] Colts minus six and a half.

PFT took the Falcons +6.5 against the Colts in Berlin. The Colts won 31-25 in overtime, a margin of exactly 6 points. Since the Falcons had +6.5 and lost by only 6, the Falcons covered the spread. PFT's bet was correct.

Leaving Jayden Daniels in a 31-point blowout was coaching malpractice by Dan Quinn

There's just no point to have your franchise quarterback in the game down 31. ... That's fucking dumb. ... To get him injured in the fourth quarter of a blowout, that seems like it would be something that in prime time, that an owner would have a serious problem with. ... Is this the guy to be the coach? That's a bad mistake by Dan Quinn.

A subjective criticism of a coach's player management decision.

Brock Purdy should have been put on long-term IR back in week 2 or 3

I think what it comes down to is that Brock Purdy should have been long-term IR, what was that week two, week three? ... Purdy was just like, no, I'm gonna try to play through this turf toe... He's a tough guy, but he probably shouldn't have done that.

Drake London is a top 5 wide receiver in the NFL right now

Since week four, I would put Drake London in my top five. ... If you were to get a guy for a game today, those are my top five: Jefferson, Jamar Chase, JSN, Puka Nacua, Drake London.

Top 5 rankings are subjective, though usually reserved for the likes of Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams, etc., whom PFT left off.

Aiden Hutchinson is a lock for NFL Comeback Player of the Year

I was looking at the Comeback Player of the Year stats. I love Aiden Hutchinson for that right now. I think he's like five to one. I think that's a good bet. I'm gonna bet that right now actually.

Hutchinson suffered a broken leg in Week 6 and is out for the regular season, making this take technically impossible for this season, though PFT might be looking at future odds or is misinformed about the return timeline.

The Broncos and Texans will go under 39.5 points

I think that both these defenses are very, very good... I think the Broncos defense is gonna frustrate the absolute fuck out of the Texans defense. I'm taking the under in this game.

The Broncos-Texans game finished 18-15, for a total of 33 points. PFT took the under on 39.5 total points, and the final total of 33 was well under that line.

Brad Paisley is the Scott Foster of Major League Baseball because he is an 'extender' who sings the anthem before extra-inning games

I'm not a big Brad Paisley fan, but maybe I should be. He's the extender. He's like Scott Foster for Major League Baseball. [Every game he sings the national anthem before] went to extra innings. Game two in 2017 went 11, game three in 2018 went 18, game one in 2024 went 10, and this game went 18. Brad Paisley [sang] the national anthem before all those games.

The take is based on a humorous observation of extra-inning outcomes and is inherently subjective.

Mahomes is back to being full on Mahomes... they're just really, really good. They're, they're, they're gonna win the Super Bowl. They, they're not, and I wanna clarify... the Chiefs are gonna win the Super Bowl. These are, these are facts.

The Chiefs went 6-11, Mahomes tore his ACL. They did not win the Super Bowl. Seahawks won.

If the Commanders lose this Sunday, the wheels are falling off the season

Sunday is where it has to start. I think Jayden [Daniels] is playing... I'd say that if we don't win this this weekend, the wheels are falling off. Yeah. And I, I did look at mock drafts today.

The Commanders won 12 games in the 2024 regular season and made it to the NFC Championship game. The wheels did not fall off — they had one of their best seasons in decades.

I think the Giants are in a position where this season is now fully about just developing Jackson Dart. I think that whatever magic they had... now it's just about making sure that [Jackson Dart] progresses, gets better, learns how to compete, and you can just put all your stock in that.

The Colts' offense, I think it makes the most sense out of any offense. When I'm watching them, I'm like, this all makes sense. They use Jonathan Taylor correctly... it's the most sense-making offense in the NFL.

Carson Wentz suffered a dislocated shoulder or labrum injury on TNF

Tua Tagovailoa has 'low eyes' which causes him to miss linebackers

I feel like this is why in the draft you measure quarterbacks up to the eyeballs. You don't measure 'em to the top of the head. Tua's got a lot of wasted space in the forehead. Makes him a little bit taller on paper than he really is. He's got low eyes.

I hope that at some point this season we get a Kirk Cousins game. I want to see Kirk Cousins. I want him to go out there. I want him to play well and then I want him to be traded to another team this season.

Kirk Cousins was not traded during the 2025 season. He served as backup to Michael Penix Jr. and stepped in when Penix tore his ACL in November, going 5-2 as a starter. He was released by the Falcons in March 2026, not traded during the season.

AJ Brown feels 'used' by the Eagles because they only target him when they desperately need to win.

I think he looks at his relationship with a football team and every time they go to him and they try to exploit a weakness in the defense... he feels like he's being used, like they wouldn't pass him the ball if they didn't need him to win. So fuck them. It's like, you're just using me so that you can win.
