The Cleveland Cavaliers are significantly better than the Miami Heat

The Cavs are so much better than the heat. I would take the under on two [Heat wins]... I think the calves are a lot better than the heat and they've been very good all year. And the heat are not, I mean they're just not a very good team.

The 2025 NFL Draft class is full of starters but lacks true star power

I've just been saying it's starters not stars... last year we had six quarterbacks... and this year when you've got, you know, Cam Ward seems locked in at one, Travis Hunter seems locked in at two... there's not really that juice there at the top.

This is a long-term assessment of a draft class.

Travis Hunter will be more impactful as a Wide Receiver than a Cornerback in the NFL

I think everybody I've talked to has a plan to major in minor... I think he's ready, he's more impactful as a receiver right now. And so I, to me, I think that's where you start him... I think he is right now ready to go. There's a ton of ways we can get the ball in his hands and I just think he impacts the game more on offense.

Travis Hunter was drafted #2 by the Jaguars and played both ways, but primarily on offense in his debut. He played 44 of 63 offensive snaps vs 6 defensive snaps in his first game, suggesting the Jaguars prioritized his WR role, supporting this prediction.

Dylan Gabriel is the 'Mr. PMT' sleeper quarterback of the draft

I would go with Dylan Gabriel... he's five 11, he's older, but he's got a, he's got a really strong arm. I've kind of advocated if you're the Dolphins and I know they brought over Zach Wilson. Yeah, but that'd be a, I mean, shoot, just bring him in there. If you can get him in the third, fourth round, knowing Tua is more than likely to miss some games.

Dillon Gabriel was indeed drafted by the Browns in the 3rd round (#94 overall), making him a notable later-round QB pick. However, calling him a 'sleeper' is subjective, and the Dolphins connection didn't happen.

Paying Josh Giddey $35 million a year would be a massive mistake for the Bulls

They also have a guy named Josh Giddey who they're gonna probably pay $35 million to, which would be a very big mistake... Josh Giddey is just good enough to get you in the play-in game and not the playoffs.

The Bulls signed Giddey to a 4-year, $100M extension ($25M/year), less than the $35M predicted. Whether it's a mistake depends on Giddey's future performance, but the contract was more modest than feared.

Aaron Rodgers is waiting for the NFL Draft to finalize his next team to avoid being 'Kirk Cousined'

I feel like all this is gonna get settled right after the draft... I think that's why Rodgers is waiting because he doesn't want to have a Kirk Cousins situation where he signs somewhere they draft someone and then they're like, 'oh yeah, it's your job.'

Aaron Rodgers did sign with the Steelers, and the timing was around the draft period. However, the 'Kirk Cousins' concern about being drafted over was not the primary factor; Rodgers simply chose Pittsburgh.
