The Capitals are 0-5 in shootouts because their goalies catch left-handed

We're oh-five in shootouts this year. And I'm gonna strictly say that it's only because we always shoot on southpaw goalies. We don't actually get to shoot on regular goalies for the shootouts.

This is a player's theory on performance statistics.

Colorado is the wagon guys. Colorado's the one that you're scared of... I can't help but see them running through the entire league and then winning the Stanley Cup with ease. Right now they are on pace to break the Bruins record for most points.

The Edmonton Oilers cannot win a Stanley Cup with their current goaltending

I said on Chiclets, like they don't have a goalie that you can win the Stanley Cup with. Now, once again, they were one game away from winning the cup with him... But if your starting goalie is getting pulled and losing his job in back to back playoffs, I don't think you have a Stanley Cup goalie. No.

This will be proven incorrect if the Oilers win a Cup with their existing goaltending core.

Getting into a line brawl is the best way to shift momentum when you're losing a playoff series

As a hockey expert, my plan, whenever you're getting your ass kicked in a series and you wanna shift it around, just get into a massive line brawl at the end of that game and just try to change the energies up somehow.

The Oilers did enter a brawl at the end of Game 3 but went on to lose the series in 7 games after being down 3-0.

This feels like a gentleman sweep though. I don't think that the hurricanes are gonna come back. I think that the, the Panthers are a much, much, much better team. They've got a couple injuries though. Yep. I do realize that. But I feel like this is the very definition of Gentleman sweep. New NCAA hockey rules will hurt American players because Canadian talent will take their scholarships

American kids are gonna get shafted scholarship wise because now you're getting the best Canadian kids and... before you wouldn't go because you couldn't go to college. But what happens is that now the best Canadian kids will play in those leagues at 17 and 18, and then they'll go to college and then they'll get a payday to go to college. Right. NIL. The Rangers turned around their entire franchise a couple years ago when Tom Wilson in a horrifying act of violence threw Panarin into the ground... They fired their entire front office after that because they realized that they were a soft hockey team. Since that moment, the Rangers have turned it around.
