Alabama's dynasty isn't dead, but NIL and depth issues have made them beatable

I don't think it's dead... but what I do think has happened, I blame Kirby Smart for a lot of it. Kirby Smart's been at Georgia now since 2016 and every year he's been there, he's sheared off a few guys that would've signed with Alabama... If you sign 20 of those guys a year instead of 25... your depth suffers.

Alabama missed the playoff in 2022 and struggled in several close games, supporting the 'beatable' thesis.

My guess is he does TV and then waits this cycle out and, and sees what's available next cycle... he'll be beloved on tv. Unlike most head coaches at that level, he can have a normal human conversation.

Rhule actually jumped back into coaching very quickly, taking the Nebraska job in November 2022, though he did some media spots in the interim.

Clemson at 16-1 to win the national championship is a great value bet

I was like, take Clemson 16 to one to win the national championship. They're not gonna win it. But at that number you, they're gonna get there... their defensive line is nasty enough actually that if they get in the playoff, they might be able to beat somebody.

Clemson finished 11-3 and did not make the College Football Playoff, so the bet did not pay out.

The maximum chaos scenario for the College Football Playoff is four SEC teams (Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Ole Miss) making the field

I'm just saying, people are asking: could Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Ole Miss be the playoff? [If] Tennessee and Georgia play an absolute classic... Alabama goes to Atlanta to face undefeated Georgia, beats them close... someone knocks off TCU, Clemson loses... It's all coming together for the SEC.

This did not happen. The 2022 Playoff consisted of Georgia, Michigan, TCU, and Ohio State. Only one SEC team (Georgia) made it.

Lance Leipold is the favorite for the Nebraska head coaching job

I think Lance Leipold would be your favorite. He's the Kansas coach and did a great job... he has, Kansas was a bigger dumpster fire when he got there than Nebraska is now. And that's saying something. He understands the lay of the land very well.

Nebraska ultimately hired Matt Rhule on November 26, 2022. Leipold stayed at Kansas.

I don't want to get excited but I think the Packers are officially broken. There's two games, the Giants and Jets, where they are a touchdown favorite in both and it just doesn't, like Aaron Rodgers doesn't lose these type of games at home.

Basically the percentage of converting a two point conversion or on fourth down basically gets increased depending on what type of turnover happens before that possession... after an interception, a fourth down conversion or a two point conversion increases by let's say 110%.
