There's zero chance that Georgia gets caught up in an FBI scandal with Tom Crean. Because that guy is above board 100%.

Tom Crean was never implicated in any FBI or major NCAA scandals during his tenure at Georgia.

Don't bet every game of the NCAA Tournament if you want to win money.

You survive March Madness by not betting every game... You can't bet every game and beat these guys. The lines are too tough.

Virginia is the best team in college basketball but losing DeAndre Hunter is a massive blow

I think [Virginia] were definitely the best team in college basketball... But this injury does matter a lot. DeAndre Hunter was one of the guys that made me optimistic about this Virginia team versus their teams of the past. He's by far their most talented player.

Virginia famously lost to #16 UMBC in the first round. Titus correctly identified that Hunter's injury was a massive, tournament-altering blow.

Xavier is the weakest #1 seed and lucky to be there

Xavier's definitely the weakest one seed. I don't love teams that don't play defense in March... Xavier feels like one of those teams to me that their defense is going to come catch up to them. They're going to look really bad.

Xavier lost in the second round to #9 seed Florida State, confirming Titus's skepticism about them as a #1 seed.

The Purdue Boilermakers are the Toronto Raptors of the tournament. No matter how good they look in the regular season... they feel like the most unthreatening two-seed in the world.

CBS ruined Selection Sunday by using alphabetical order for the bracket reveal

The Selection Sunday show was fucking terrible. They had alphabetical order, which was so stupid. We basically sat there like, what's going on? And then three or four times said, wait, is that team in or out? Because you just keep missing teams and there's no bracket. Then they make you wait for the bracket. Then there's technical difficulties. Fuck everything. They ruined one of the best things in sports.

The reaction was overwhelmingly negative across the sports world, and the format was eventually abandoned.

The new TBS Selection Sunday format is stupid and ruins the bubble watch excitement

The Selection Sunday Show by TBS... They basically said... we're actually going to reveal the entire field. And then reveal the bracket at the end of the show. So basically ruin all the bubble watch. ... Literally every single person in America just wants to see the fucking bracket.

The 2018 Selection Show was famously panned for revealing the teams in alphabetical order early in the show, which was widely considered a failure and changed in subsequent years.

The NCAA should allow players to use their likeness and change the one-and-done rule

They're going to change a couple things. They may let players use their likeness. They may change the one-and-done rule... until the NCAA says [to coaches] you commit a major violation, you are banned from coaching college basketball... nothing's going to change.

The NCAA eventually allowed NIL (likeness) rights in 2021, though the one-and-done rule (an NBA rule) remains a point of contention.

Virginia is susceptible to in-game lulls because they don't get to the free throw line enough

Virginia because I really like them but they've got that reputation that they don't commit a lot of fouls well they don't get fouled very much either so like they're not shooting very many free throws and on those nights when you're not making your shots you've got to have something else that you can go to.

This was extremely accurate. Just weeks later, #1 overall seed Virginia lost to #16 seed UMBC in the first round of the NCAA tournament, partially because they went cold from the field and only shot 12 free throws.

The Louisville scandal is brazen because it happened one month after they were put on probation

The part that really affects Louisville is basically an Adidas guy met with a Louisville assistant coach... one month after Louisville had agreed to their probation with the NCAA. Ohio State's unrealistic coaching wish list is a strategic 'anchoring' move

This is a great move by OSU, though, because if you just throw out the wish list that's just insane, everyone's like, okay, well, that's crazy. And then you get one of those second-tier guys that you probably were a third-tier. Yes, it's called anchoring. Anybody who's negotiated knows this. Vanderbilt's late-game foul against Northwestern was the dumbest move since Chris Webber's timeout

Boneheaded, just complete brain fart. What happened, I'm sure you all saw, but Vanderbilt was up one and Matthew Fisher Davis decided to foul with 10 seconds left. 45 feet past half court from Northwestern's basket and they end up losing by one.
