The MLB is likely 'juicing' balls by sewing stitches tighter to reduce air resistance

I've talked to Ron Darling... and he says the stitches are sewn tighter. They're not as elevated... Ronnie says when the ball leaves the bat, there's no seams to grab the air and the ball travels further. I never thought of that. And it makes perfect sense. They do other ways too. That little core there, they can make that thing like a rubber band as much as they want. But don't ever admit, throughout my playing day, there has always been talk of the ball's juiced and they want more home runs today. And the MLB will always deny it.

The 2019 MLB-commissioned study confirmed that the 2019 baseball (and previous years) had lower drag, partly due to seam height changes, leading to the home run surge.

Radar guns should be removed from baseball so pitchers actually pitch instead of just throwing hard

I would take the radar gun out. Pitchers watch. I talked to Jacob deGrom, and he said he looks up there, and if he's at 94, he wants to get to 95. You know they're watching and I think just take them off the board... Just so the pitchers would pitch instead of throw. Nothing better than a pitcher that knows how to go out and watch a guy throw a beautiful game.

This is a subjective opinion on the quality and style of the sport.

Yu Darvish is sad because he thinks that all of the Cubs fans and all of Chicago hates him because he's been on the DL twice and it's just now June 1st. And he also reads everything on Twitter and doesn't like getting the hate.

Astros pitchers have higher spin rates because Houston is closer to the equator

There's a reason why all the NASA sites in the United States are closer to the equator because the Earth spins faster the closer you get to the equator. So it's cheaper to fly a rocket there. So I think the fact that it's in Houston and further south means the ball spins faster.

While the earth does rotate faster at the equator, this has no measurable effect on a baseball's RPMs relative to the pitcher's hand.

I think Derek Jeter, I think we can say it now, he has completely ruined his legacy. It is unbelievable how much of a douchebag Derek Jeter has been in the last year. Shortening the MLB season and adding doubleheaders would make the sport better

Anthony Rizzo has said that he thinks we should play less baseball games, which I'm all for... Why don't we just start it later and do doubleheaders? Doubleheaders are such a fun, weird thing in baseball that they don't do enough... I think less baseball would make baseball, I think it'd be an addition by subtraction.

MLB is making the stitches on baseballs bigger to create better GIFs

This year they're just making the stitches a little bigger, make more movement, better gifs, more social traction... When the pitches are going like four feet across the plate straight up, it's a little suspicious.

The 'juiced ball' theory was usually about the core, not the stitches, and there is no evidence MLB altered stitch height specifically for GIF aesthetics.

Mark McGwire's claim that he didn't need PEDs for 70 home runs is ridiculous

Mark McGwire has come out out of nowhere and said that he didn't need PEDs to hit 70 home runs. He could have done it without him. All I got from this is Mark McGwire did PEDs. Sammy Sosa now was the home run king in 1998 with 66 home runs. It is hilarious to look at a picture of Mark McGwire on the A's and then look at a picture of Mark McGwire on the Cardinals.
