St. Peter's over Kentucky is a historical upset on par with UMBC over Virginia

I think this is right there with like duke Lehigh, because when it's the blue blood, when it's the powerhouse, it's so much more. This is a historical upset.

Statistically and culturally, Kentucky losing as a 2-seed to a small Jersey City school is widely considered one of the top 5 upsets in tournament history.

any team in our league that finished 500 or better deserves to be in the tournament. I've been in the big 12. If our resume was on the board in the big 12, we would be right in the middle of the whole thing.

You cannot win in the NCAA tournament with bad guard play, regardless of your center

You cannot win if you got a great center and you got bad guard [play]. You got to have really good guards. If you don't have good guards, it's hard to win a game, let alone in the NCAA tournament.

The 2022 champion Kansas was led by strong guard/wing play (Agbagi), supporting this general tournament axiom.

Betting on every moneyline underdog is a winning March Madness strategy

It's built out... basically the concept is you put $5 on every money dog. Every money dog, you put $5 in every money dog. The Moneyline dog is your insurance for if your future goes out in the first round.

The strategy of betting every underdog on the moneyline in the first round of the NCAA tournament is historically a losing proposition due to the vig and the high frequency of favorites winning.

The Jaguars have to pay a 'Jaguars tax' to sign good players

The Jaguars are doing a complete renovation... They're signing everyone, they're paying everybody insane amounts of money because there is a Jaguars tax that you have to pay. Like if you want a good player... you have to pay them like they're superstars to get them to go to the Jaguars.

The Jaguars significantly outspent the league in 2022 free agency, including the controversial Christian Kirk contract, supporting the 'tax' theory.

Carson Wentz is a better choice than Kirk Cousins

I would go with Wentz over Cousins for one very important reason... The moment it goes to shit, Cousins can't do anything. Wentz has the athleticism to try to make chicken salad on the fly. That separates him from Cousins... and for what he's getting paid versus what Cousins's getting paid, I take Wentz.
