The Sixers must make the NBA Finals or beat the Celtics within the next two years for the Paul George signing to be a success

It's a two year window to at least make we have to at least make a finals. Make a finals play for. NBA finals beat the Celtics NBA finals. We have to beat the Celtics one of these next two years.

Success is subjective, but the specific goal of making the Finals or beating the Celtics is testable over the next two seasons.

The Denver Nuggets will struggle mid-season because they let Kentavious Caldwell-Pope walk

Stan Kroenke strikes again, KCP going to the Magic and Stan Kroenke unwilling to pay luxury tax and build. I feel like that was a huge, that's one of those ones that we're gonna look at somewhere mid-season and be like, oh shit, the Nuggets just, they're kind of missing a guy. And it's KCP.

The Nuggets are currently 8-5 (as of mid-Nov 2024), showing some early-season volatility that aligns with the 'missing a guy' narrative, but it's too early to call it correct.

Jared McCain is the best shooter in the draft, better than Reed Sheppard

He's the best shooter in the draft. He's the best shooter since Steph Curry... There have been two freshmen in NCA history with a 0.611 plus true shooting percentage. Two, two hundred ten three point attempts and 150 plus rebounds. And that's Jared McCain and Steph Curry.

McCain's career is pending. While the stat cited is likely a cherry-picked truth, whether he is the 'best shooter' is an opinion.

No single player will ever win six NBA championships as the main guy again

I personally, I don't think it's even possible for someone to win six rings anymore. Like maybe as like the extra guy who goes tops from team to team or something. But as like the main guy, I just don't think that's available anymore. . . the competition is so much thicker from team to team and game to game.

This will take decades to definitively prove right or wrong, but reflects current NBA parity.

Victor Wembanyama is going to dominate the NBA in ways we have never seen on both ends of the floor

The Spurs are coming because of Victor [Wembanyama]. ... we better all get our winning out of the way fast. We better get our winning done fast. The craziest thing about Lebron 40,000 points is I don't, I don't think anyone's gonna hit it. Like I don't, even though the scoring is crazy in the NBA right now, I was looking at it and Luca has 10,000 points in six years, but to say Luca can play to be 40 years old with his body, no offense to his body would be a jump.
