The Minnesota Vikings franchise is the 'Hall of Very Good' of NFL teams

Minnesota Vikings franchise hall of very good 65 seasons. 32 playoff appearances in 65 seasons. They've literally been in the playoffs almost exactly half the time. ... They've never won a Super Bowl. They're the hall of very good franchises.

A statistical fact claim used to support a subjective categorization.

Kicking a field goal down 8 points in the NFC Championship was a terrible idea

Kicking a field goal down eight with two minutes left and the best quarterback of all time on the opposing team in the NFC championship game. Yes. That would be a bad idea. Mathematically and spiritually also just bad vibes from that decision. My goal is to never, ever let that go.

Analytics and public opinion largely sided with Big Cat; taking the ball out of Aaron Rodgers' hands while trailing by 8 was widely criticized as a mistake.

Sean McDermott is a sleeper pick for a fight because of his wrestling background

This one I think is also pretty obvious, but might not be to the naked eye. It's Sean McDermott. He was a back to back national prep champion wrestler, like all time. Good wrestler had a 61 and oh record surrendering just one take down. You get in a fight, how many people that you fighting know how to wrestle?

Subjective hypothetical, but based on verifiable wrestling credentials.

Bill Belichick. He's a little older now, but Dalton and Roadhouse where he sees all the angles and he sees a guy with a knife in his boot before the knife comes out. I also feel like he's a big time pressure point guy. He could just walk up to you and you'd faceplant.

MVP 2,500. Oh wow. Jersey Jerry... Jersey Jerry gave it to me. I put it in. It's the first future I have. MVP the whole league... With one of the best wide receivers actually. And one of the best offensive coordinators. And they had a lot of promise last year.

Derek Carr had a poor season, was benched late in the year, and was eventually released. Patrick Mahomes won MVP.

The reason why it was never clarified is because it's a lie. It was said by a [Sod] lover... They just threw out that slander. Homey hopper. Exactly. I think that Zach is an outstanding man on and off the field.

While Wilson never explicitly confirmed the specific 'mom's friend' detail, his ex-girlfriend's public comments were the source, and the truth remains largely in the realm of celebrity gossip.

Our next pick is a quarterback under center... Pro-style offense. What does that mean? Putting his hands in you basically. The ass. Tom Brady has a very specific way that he likes his center's ass to be... he makes the center put a specific type of towel like in his ass cheeks.

Kirk Cousins is the most average quarterback of all time

Kirk Cousins, probably the most average quarterback that these two eyes have ever seen. He will beat every team that is less than 8-8, and he will lose to every team that is better than 8-8... you never expect him to do anything great, and guess what? He never does.

While Cousins has remained consistently productive, he won a major playoff game against the 13-3 Saints in the 2019 playoffs, slightly complicating the 'loses to winning teams' narrative.

Fullback assists should be an official NFL stat

I would like to actually make the fullback assist a real stat that's recognized. So that's whenever a running back scores a touchdown inside the five-yard line and a fullback makes a block, they should get an assist like in hockey or in soccer.

While PFF and some advanced stats track 'lead blocks,' it has not become an official NFL box score stat.

Establishing the run game is the foundation of all football success

The Patriots would be viewed as frauds if not for the coaching collapses of Pete Carroll, Dan Quinn, and Andy Reid

A 30 for 30 about how everybody would look at the New England Patriots as being the biggest chokers of all time if it weren't for the three biggest Super Bowl collapse coaching jobs with Pete Carroll, Dan Quinn, and Andy Reid forgetting how clocks work. If it wasn't for those three, then everybody would say, I think the word we'd be using with the Patriots wouldn't be dynasty. It would be fraud.

The way I've described him is it's like if you go into a shop and you've got 10 shirts that are exactly the same. It's like buying the one with the Nike logo on it. It's not necessarily a better shirt. It just looks better. [Garoppolo] and Cody Kessler is not a big difference.

Mitchell Trubisky should start immediately rather than sitting

Normally, you want to sit a rookie quarterback if he needs to fix his footwork or fix his throwing motion... But Trubisky's got good feet. He reacts to pressure well... I would play him so he can learn. He's got good accuracy. He's a good athlete. He's really poised. He can go through reads. And I'd happily take him as a starter.

Trubisky sat for the first four games of 2017 before starting. His career didn't ultimately justify the high evaluation, but the 'should he start' debate was a major topic in 2017.

Tom Brady showed signs of regression in the 2016 playoffs despite winning the Super Bowl

The playoffs last year weren't great. I know they won the Super Bowl, they came back, but in the fourth quarter of that Falcons game, if you go through it, he threw the ball to defenders. On the Edelman catch, if you look at where that ball arrives and where he threw it, it was straight to the defender... That's just lucky.

Brady went on to win the NFL MVP in 2017 and led the league in passing yards, strongly refuting the 'regression' narrative at that time.
