Bryce Young's career in Carolina is over

I feel bad for Bryce Young. It doesn't feel like it's ever gonna happen. Carolina, I feel like that part is, is kind of done. 'Cause even if he plays the rest of this year, there's no way the Panthers are gonna be good enough where they're like, we're gonna keep him going forward.

Young was benched for Andy Dalton the day after this podcast aired, though he eventually returned to start later in the season.

Joe Burrow's wrist injury is 100% physical and he is lying about being 'good'

I disagree with you that it's mental, not physical. I think it's physical. No, I think it's 100% physical, physical, physical. And that when Joe Burrow says he's good, he knows he's not good and he's pissed off that he is not good.

Burrow's performance improved significantly as the season progressed, suggesting he eventually regained full health, though he definitely looked hampered early.

You don't have to draft a wide receiver until the fifth round

There are so many talented wide receivers in the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth rounds that we don't have to draft wide receivers until the fifth round. Now if one comes up in like... if Garrett Wilson is there at the end of the second round, you've gotta take him. But I don't think we're gonna touch a wide receiver till the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth rounds.

The 2024 season saw significant injuries to early-round WRs (A.J. Brown, Puka Nacua), making mid-round depth more valuable, though many mid-round targets Jerry mentions (Keenan Allen, Higgins) struggled with health or consistency early on.

The Rangers' status as a juggernaut is a direct result of Tom Wilson's hit on Artemi Panarin

The Rangers turned around their entire franchise a couple years ago when Tom Wilson in a horrifying act of violence threw Panarin into the ground... They fired their entire front office after that because they realized that they were a soft hockey team. Since that moment, the Rangers have turned it around.
